ACM Movers - Great Experience

ACM Movers Chicago helped me for my long distance move from Milwaukee, WI to Ann Arbor, MI, and they were amazing! The movers were friendly, hardworking, and very careful with my belongings. Communication was clear and consistent from start to finish. They made my long-distance move so much easier. I would definitely use them again!

Never, ever would trust or use them again

This was the first and LAST time I use Safe Ship Moving Services. Seemed like a good option given our short lead time to move, but after the initial contract this went down hill fast. Contacted four days out from move by "Quality Assurance" which ended up increasing my move from $6,500 to $8,500. What did I get? Damaged boxes, an expensive bicycle that came in 3 pieces, items with missing pieces, a two-man team for unloading who got too tired trying to move a house worth of stuff so we had damaged walls and house trim do to dropping stuff, and the delivery team arrived with no tools to reassemble our furniture as was contracted. Add to this our delivery was held at ransom because the cashier's check was made out to Safe Ship Moving Services (as we were instructed) but their 3rd party (ACM Moving and Transportation) would not accept the payment. Had to drive across town to find a bank that was open on Saturday since no one was available from Safe Ship to mediate the problem. Finally, we have no idea if all of our belongings made it because the packing inventory was not checked off or reconciled by the delivery people.
