Read More I was worried about my glass display cabinets, but the way Howards Van Line wrapped them in moving blankets was top-notch. They used 2 layers of protection for the fragile pieces, which really put my mind at ease. I am very satisfied with how much care they took with my personal history.

The guys from Howards Van Line didn't even complain about the stairs, and they got my heavy sofa down without hitting the walls. If you have a difficult apartment layout, you should hire them.

Read More If you ever need a moving company do not use Howards Van Line. My mom had the worst experience with them, she called them to arrange for them to move her to Georgia when she told them it was a 2 bedroom apartment they told her a price she agreed to it, after she sent pictures and she confirmed the packing list with them. They told her they would be there on the date in between 8-11a then the day before the moving day they called and said 6-8p. Moving day came and the movers told her her, that her furniture was to big and it would cost her another $7,000. When she asked how they figure out the square footage so she could see what she could and couldnt take they refused to show her and became very rude. My mom asked again and they told her they were going to cancel the moving contract. She called the manager on duty and was told they would take off $1000 which did nothing. They did move her things onto the truck but she had to leave more than half of her things, she also had to pay an extra $300 because it was more then 75 steps not feet but steps from the house to the truck. When they left they didnt clean up after themselves and left all the moving tape rolls and moving wrap trash. She was told it would it could take 4-7 days to get her things to the new house.

Read More The move from my old studio was a success. The guys had to take the heavy door off my wardrobe because it kept swinging open while they carried it. They gripped the wooden frame from the bottom and tilted it to clear the low ceiling in the hallway. I watched them shove thick foam blocks between my bike and the heavy boxes in the van.
