Read More I was astounded by the speed and expertise of the movers. They were swift and worked without any breaks from day one. My wooden chairs, tables and other furniture were sealed in protective gear by them. They left no part unattended when packing them which is the reason why everything made it over safely. I only have positive things to say about them!

Read More "Terrible communication, still no delivery. Wondering if they stole it? My 89 yr old grandmother sold her house to move to a condo, and we contracted GS to pick up some family furniture from her in MO to deliver to us in IL. We were told to give a 2 day window to be available for delivery. We did - Thurs/Fri. First we were told “Friday morning,” then Friday night, then Saturday morning, Saturday night, Sunday afternoon, Monday morning.. and now here we are at Monday morning and NOTHING. Each time we were ready and waiting but had to call the delivery person to ask where he was - he did not call us to say he’d miss the window, he gave us no advance notice that he wouldn’t make it. He missed the window at least 6 or 7 times. Most times he was “still 300 miles away” or “still 2 hours away,” even an hour after expected delivery. Rarely did he answer the phone at all. At this point I don’t know if he even has my furniture or if he’s stealing it or what the heck is going on. I can’t figure out why he would keep giving us times and missing them. I would not have cared if it took longer than expected, but now we’ve waited around for 5 days expecting a delivery. I’m not sure it will ever come. I’m afraid we’ve lost all the beautiful heirloom furniture from my grandmother’s house, her china, etc. Do not contract with this business.
