Read More My mother hired them to help her move back to our home state so she could be closer to family through a health crisis. They quoted her the amount of 1875.45 and then on delivery they up charged her to 2633 without explanation. They sold her contract to a Sala Moving and Storage LLC who would deliver her items. They lost some very sentimental portraits, and in their place we received multiple family portraits from a completely unrelated family and a Christmas tree that wasn't ours. She has tried to contact the company multiple times over the last several months and no one will call her back or answer her calls. We'd like to at least have the photograph issue resolved but nothing we have done has resulted in correcting this issue. I feel bad for the family that's missing these two other portraits. If your family used this company in October 2024 and you're missing photos, I'm sorry for you. Do yourself a favor and don't use this company - save your money for someone more reputable.

They tell you one thing on the phone and when the movers arrive, who weren't from Emerald, when I was told Emerald wouldn't sell off my move, then its more money and not what you were told. Then I tried to get in touch with Paris after I paid the deposit, was impossible. Even though he said, "You have my number & email, please reach out if you have ANY questions, I'm here to make the move go as smooth as possible". Nothing but LIES !!! Don't EVER, EVER use this company . Do it yourself cheaper or use a company that does the move themselves.

Read More I hired Emerald to move me from Knoxville TN to Sebring Florida. I paid a large deposit and 30 days prior to my move paid another large deposit. Confirmed with the company when my move was scheduled for. The 2nd day before my move of June 5 still nobody contacted me to confirm when they would be here. Emerald customer service was non existent and I eventually hired another crooked moving company because nobody ever was going to pick up my stuff. NEVER USE THESE CROOKS. You know when they will not take a credit card they are crooked and want no accountablity. SAVE YOUR MONEY HIRE SOMEONE ELSE. I have asked for my 2nd deposit back and they refuse and I know otheres have had similar experiences with them.

THAT COMPANY IS AMAZING THANK GOD THEY INFORMED ME THAT THIS SCAM EMERALD MOVING & LOGISTICS OR EMERALD MOVING ISLES IN FT LAUDERDALE FLORIDA IS A SCAM THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE LOWEST QUOTE POSSIBLE THEN WHEN MOVE DAY COMES GUYS OFF CRAIGSLIST WILL SHOW UP AT YOUR HOME .. I have not ever moved on my own before but my booking call was fairly simple, I just was not sure of my box count. Luckily I got to tidy up all those lose ends before pickup and everything was very smooth and efficient. Surprisingly so actually. Very satisfied, thank you Emerald!
