Read More With the assurance I gained from the inspection trip, I was able to successfully do my first major relocation. Matthew was very prompt in responding to my emails. The movers I hired today could not have been more proficient in their job or more polite of my items.

Read More I've used Elite Van Lines twice in the last two years. They are fast, easy to work with, and HARD WORKERS. I have the unfortunate luck of only finding 3 story walk ups in my price range, and these guys do such a wonderful job moving my stuff with care and a smiles on their faces. The price is very on par with the service.

Read More do not hire this company. Packers ruined an expensive piece of art and the company is conveniently not returning my calls or taking any responsibility for it. They also underestimated the cost by over $7,000. Hire another company with customer service who stands behind their promises. You can clearly see the damaged picture, from 1906, and the garage with the mish mash of decorator items, tools and everything in between that was dumped together on a truck and not packed.

They also helped me by taking my old mattress and box frame to the dump for a nominal fee. They are dependable, reliable and very responsive to their customers. Moving is stressful enough, so knowing you can depend on your moving company is critical! Call them now!

They will give you a good estimate and then triple the price and hold your items forcing you to lay cash or money orders. They damaged my items and never paid for damages. The worst company I have ever dealt with on a move. It’s a red flag when they won’t accept credit cards. Do NOT hire them. Find a company who accepts cards and do a good search to look for fake reviews.

Read More Be very careful if you decide to use this moving company and ask a lot of questions because they typically don’t actually do any moving but function just as a broker that gets a large fee to set up and hire another local mover (who you don’t have any contact with until the day they arrive ) to do the actual moving They act like they are the company who handles the move and that they will be your interface and provide all the support and info you need but beware once you pay them their fee (50% of the total cost) they will be of zero help and zero customer service Our salesperson was very convincing and eager to get us to sign up but once we did and we had many questions to follow he wouldn't even talk to us Questions I wish I would have asked ( we moved from Texas to California ) 1) what company will actually be doing the move ? 2) who do we talk to if there are questions or concerns in the process ? 3) when the moving company they hire picks up our stuff - where do they store it ? They told us day of the move it would be 14-21 business days to arrive that means it could sit somewhere for almost a month you want to make sure that place is secure 4) who contacts us and keeps us posted during the actual move and any heads up in advance when they arrive - we got none 5) beware of added charges for steps distance from the street etc / this can double your charges Basically they are a low cost provider to broker moving services but the entire process is very nerve wracking and uncertain The local Dallas area moving company that they selected arrived with none of the shipping boxes we paid for (lamps tv wardrobe etc.) because we got pissed they reluctantly went to Home Depot and got some boxes but not the ones we paid for Ultimately our items arrived in California - a very nice driver arrived alone and somehow got our items upstairs alone - our mattress was inadvertently dropped at a stop in Phoenix so we agreed to split the cost to buy a new one Surprisingly only a lamp shade damaged If you can deal with a lot of stress confusion and uncertainty and want a cheap price this is your company It did work out for us but I wished I would have asked a lot of questions and had I known how it would go I would never have used them - too much drama and zero customer service Best wishes

They're a broker, so they don't actually move your stuff. They contract to the cheapest companies. Thus, it's likely poor quality movers will move your stuff. The sales lady was sickly-sweat and indignified that I was taking my time trying to find the right movers. She said she would have to take away an "early birds" discount if I didn't make a decision soon. This was the only thing keeping this company clearly in the lead price-wise, so I got scared into choosing them. She also totally shammed me. She asked what I was being estimated by another person, I mentioned the weight estimate. This company doesn't charge by weight, but she used the fact that they were estimating nearly a thousand pounds less as a reason why not to choose them, even though square footage had been the same. Apples to oranges. I did not realize that the notice on the estimate stated "we can change the price of things on this invoice day of pick-up." I thought it was saying "we will charge you more if on day of pick-up you have more stuff." So day of pick-up, even though I had a list of nearly three-times the length of the estimate, most of it was small boxes. So an increase by maybe a third of volume somehow ended up doubling my costs. I am fine that I was charged more for the extra stuff. I expected it. When I was doing estimates, I had barely packed and thought I had estimated correctly. But since it was a home full of stuff we had inherited, I had no actual clue how much we'd pack up. (NOTE: I will discus the movers. They clearly state they do not assume liability for the move itself: that's on the movers. However, as the person choosing said companies on my behalf, and since they never clearly told me who the movers were, I believe the actions of the movers should reflect on this company.) Movers were a day late from their two-day window. Elite told me it was a truck breakdown that caused this. I told the movers I was happy they were okay, and they didn't even seem to know what I was talking about. Otherwise, the guys were really nice. Do note, they did not use furniture padding to pack anything. Just plastic wrap and tape. When discussing the extra items, the guy was nice about it. Said the truck had so much extra room for situations like this. The company had estimated 6-10 days for delivery. The movers said in about 5 days to expect a call to schedule delivery. After a week and a half of nothing, I and my realtor contact Elite. No solid answers. At some point they say "Oh, we don't normally start even trying to schedule delivery until 10 days have elapsed." Wow, would have been great to know. 2 and a half weeks after our stuff was picked up, we get a two-day delivery window. We hear nothing from either Elite or the movers during this time. The next week, we get a new delivery date. They ran behind. Finally, 28 days after delivery, they arrive. I had asked multiple times if the company did 2nd stops, since our move was a temporary down-size while we sell and then buy a home. They said within 15 miles, second stop is free. Movers arrive, "second stop is always a fee." Thankfully we have a garage. Half our boxes were crushed. Furniture chipped and scratched. We're missing at least a 40' TV. They records I was give faded within a week, so I can't actually check and see what we did or didn't get. As you can imagine, things were shattered, chipped, broken. More than should have been. I have moved myself multiple times. I have only broken 1 or two things ever. I know I packed this stuff well. Also, I keep seeing them defend their extra charges by saying "They had X number of items on their list, but actually had more..." They're charging by the square foot. I had estimated 40 medium boxes. Instead I had like 80 small or smaller boxes and 10 or so medium to large. Because I had a lot of heavy or fragile items: medium boxes didn't make sense. Anyway, let my horror story be a lesson: never choose this company. They do not care about you. They just want your money.
