Not a trust worthy company. I booked, confirmed and gave a deposit for a move date 2 months in advance. I was given a price based on a FaceTime, room by room inventory. ... Read More Not a trust worthy company. I booked, confirmed and gave a deposit for a move date 2 months in advance. I was given a price based on a FaceTime, room by room inventory. The day prior to the move, I called to confirm the time and they had someone call me back to review the inventory. That’s when they DOUBLED the price. Because I was in a jam and had to vacate my premises, I had no choice in finding another mover the day prior to the move. So, I thought. In signing the revised contract, I asked what time they would show up tomorrow and they said someone would call me back. At 10pm, I had not heard from them so I called. That’s when they informed me the move isn’t tomorrow, it’s the day after the date I originally confirmed. (2 days from now). When I protested, they said - ‘check the contract’. You signed it! THEY HAD CHANGED THE MOVE DATE while I was under duress about the price issue. Based on the forgoing, at 11pm that evening, I cancelled the move with DIRECT RELOCATION SERVICES, received a refund of my deposit and fortunately found a reputable company at half the original price. DO NOT TRUST DIRECT RELOCATION SERVICES. They are unethical, couldn’t care less about you and are liars.
