I was nervous about moving across the country, but this firm made it easy. They were punctual, wrapped my gadgets and glass cookware, and assisted me in unpacking when I arrived. Each mover answered my endless questions politely and quickly. I made the best decision by choosing them.
I packed my belongings into a storage unit while traveling abroad, and upon my return, I needed everything delivered to my new place. I had forgotten what was in some boxes, but the movers helped me sort it all out and didn't rush me. They even helped set up the heavy furniture in the right rooms. It made returning home feel a lot more welcoming.
Horrible Experience - Avoid This Company! I can't express enough how terrible my experience with Cross Country Movers has been. From the start, the communication was absolutely dreadful. Once they picked up my stuff, I never heard a word from them. No updates, no tracking info, nothing. I had no idea where my belongings were or when they would arrive. The worst part? They completely overcharged me. The initial estimate was way lower than the final bill, and they tacked on extra, unexplained fees that were never mentioned during booking. It felt like they were just taking advantage of me at every turn. And now, even though it's been weeks, my stuff still isn't here! No one is giving me a clear answer or timeline. This company is a complete disaster and I wouldn't trust them with a single item, let alone an entire move. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable moving company. Cross Country Movers is an absolute nightmare. Their quote was significantly lower than what I ended up paying. In addition, they billed me for the extra time as the transfer took significantly longer than expected. In addition, they scuffed my wooden floors.

Throughout the process, they kept me informed with reminder notifications and confirmation calls, which made everything much less stressful. On moving day, the crew called ahead to let me know when they were on the way and arrived exactly when expected. The movers themselves were outstanding. They came prepared with dollies, moving blankets, and wrapping materials, and they took great care to protect my belongings. What impressed me most was how fast they worked while still being extremely careful with every item. Even things I hadn't wrapped myself were properly protected before being moved. Communication didn't stop once the truck was loaded. During unloading, they continually checked with me to make sure items were being placed where I wanted them and were happy to accommodate requests. They made the entire process efficient and stress-free. The payment process was simple, the final cost was exactly within the range I was quoted, and the service was worth every penny.
