I had a studio apartment with narrow hallways, and I was worried my large dresser wouldn’t make it out. The movers calmly measured the doorframe, removed the dresser drawers, and carried it out piece by piece. They reassured me the whole time, saying, “We’ve got this.” At my new place, they reassembled it perfectly.
Will, Fonzie and Sky did an amazing job moving my family into our new home. They worked quickly and efficiently and everything arrived in perfect condition. Thank you guys so much!!
The movers arrived late and spent the entire day blaming traffic, weather, and other random excuses for their delays. It was clear they weren’t taking responsibility for their poor planning. By the time they finished, it was dark, and I had no energy left to check if everything was intact. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.
I recently used Cross Country Movers for a local move and was thoroughly impressed with their service. The 4-man team was not only highly efficient but also completed the move in significantly less time than estimated—finishing in 5 hours instead of the quoted 7. That meant I actually paid LESS than expected—when does that ever happen??? After several moves over the years, this was the first time everything arrived without damage and without any surprise charges. Their pricing was fair, and was able to book them on fairly short notice, and they were on-time - which was critical as we had to schedule a loading dock and freight elevator at our new apartment.
When I called to complain about the issues, the customer service team was rude and dismissive. They talked over me, refused to let me explain the situation, and basically told me there was nothing they could do. I’ve never dealt with such poor service.
Cross Country Movers crew was great at communication, got to us in time and worked very professionally and fast. We were overwhelmed but once they started working, knew right away that everything would work out as planned. And it did: All of our furniture and boxes safely arrived at the new place and storage unit. Pricing was reasonable too.
They were hardworking and handled all my items with care. They were very time efficient and the cost of the move was more than reasonable. Highly recommend this company to anyone needing movers. 10/10
They do not properly take care of your items. Most of your stuff will be broken, stolen, or just downright filthy. Please go use someone else if you actually want to get your stuff as is. Then when you try to get a claim for your items they give you the run around. They subcontract out so there’s no communication or any accountability.
Second time using Cross Country Movers and we can't say enough good things about working with them. Top-notch, speedy service at an amazing price. Cost included couch and bed dis/assembly as well. Josh and his team were amazing!
Amazing movers! :) They are very professional and efficient in packing and moving. We also had a very pleasant communication with Ashton, who worked with us to plan our move. We are extremely satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone planning to move soon.
