They were speedy and efficient, while still carefully wrapping our furniture and gently transporting our boxes, especially those with fragile items. I can't say enough about how well our moving day went with Daniel and his team. Strongly recommended for anyone in the Chicago area!
Their quote was significantly lower than what I ended up paying. In addition, they billed me for the extra time as the transfer took significantly longer than expected. In addition, they scuffed my wooden floors.

They were in touch often in the days and weeks leading up to my move; and on the day of, even given a slight timing delay, they made up for it by bringing an extra team member to help the process go quicker. Hiring this moving company may have been the best decision of the year I’ve made. They removed all the stress from moving and turned it into something enjoyable. I had a lot of heavy furniture, but the crew was so in sync that it didn’t seem like much of a challenge. They even went ahead and checked the truck twice to ensure everything was not left behind. I can’t recommend them enough!

They wrapped every single thing with utmost care to ensure it's safety; verified with my when they had questions or concerns about anything; showed me if they noticed something was broken before they packed it. The elderly folks in my life were getting ready to sell the house they would lived in for over four decades. I had doubts about the movers' capacity to coordinate everything, but they did an incredible job. They handled fragile items with care, whispered to my parents, and moved slowly. They paused and reassured my worried mother that everything would be fine when she started to cry. Such understanding is priceless.
I had a studio apartment with narrow hallways, and I was worried my large dresser wouldn’t make it out. The movers calmly measured the doorframe, removed the dresser drawers, and carried it out piece by piece. They reassured me the whole time, saying, “We’ve got this.” At my new place, they reassembled it perfectly.
Cross Country Movers is an excellent company to work with. Movers on both ends were efficient and handled my good with care. I moved from California to Dallas, and my items were delivered within a week of pick up. Nothing was missing or damaged. Communication from getting a quote, booking, payment, and delivery was consistent and I was kept informed regarding movement and delivery. I plan to use Cross Country Movers for any future moves.
