I was so impressed especially with the care and attention to my works of art and my grand piano. Everything arrived without a scratch and every piece of furniture was carefully put in place. I highly recommend Cross Country Movers to anyone needing a moving company.
Literally the WORST moving experience of my life! I moved from RI to FL. I was given an estimate then the day of the move I was told by the movers that the cost would be THOUSANDS more than quoted!!!! I didn't know what to do, they already had my stuff on the truck, our families flight to FL was about to leave, my lease was up on my apt so we had no where to go. I also needed to start my new job in 2 days. The movers for my car had already taken it. We didn;t know what to do. They said they were gonna dump our stuff on the street if we didnt pay. They knew they had control. We felt as if we had no choice. Then it took weeks and weeks to get our stuff and some things arrived broken! After many phone calls nothing was solved. This company is the WORST. DO NOT USE THEM!!
I recently moved from a small two-bedroom rental into a newly built townhouse. The amount of stuff I had was honestly more than I expected, but the movers didn't seem fazed at all. They worked steadily, handled everything carefully, and kept a great attitude. Nothing got scratched or misplaced. It was such a relief to have a crew that knew exactly what they were doing.
Extremely professional and friendly. They worked non stop and stayed within the estimated overall time for the move and took really great care of all my furniture. Would highly recommend them specifically and Cross Country Movers

Wow!!! What a stress free and pleasant experience!!! I never knew moving could be so easy! Jorge, Daifer and Miguel were my movers, they were extremely professional and friendly! They arrived perfectly on time and immediately got to work! All of my items were wrapped and handled with care! No scratches on my furniture or scuffs left on my floors or walls - so I am happy!! 10 out of 10 would recommend this service to my friends and family!!!
The movers arrived late and spent the entire day blaming traffic, weather, and other random excuses for their delays. It was clear they weren’t taking responsibility for their poor planning. By the time they finished, it was dark, and I had no energy left to check if everything was intact. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.
We had an odd job of moving my basement workshop out of a small basement with a narrow, winding stairwell. I have lots of heavy machinery, awkward parts, and bulky equipment. They clearly know all the tricks of the trade. At the new house, they had to cross newly refinished wood floors and navigate freshly painted walls on the way down to the basement, and nothing was damaged or scuffed. We even had a surprise item to move from the garage to the second floor, and they were happy to help.
The organized and efficient team meticulously labeled boxes and created a floor plan for my new office, ensuring everything landed in the right place. They quickly set up furniture and unpacked boxes, minimizing disruption to my workday. This moving company made the office transition smooth, getting my employees back to work in no time.
I was surprised at how quiet and efficient the movers worked. They moved steadily without wasting time, but never rushed the process. Everything was packed with precision, making the whole move feel effortless.
