I had a state-to-state relocation with Cross Country Movers, and it was excellent. The movers worked carefully, communicated updates, and delivered on time. Everything was intact, and the entire process felt organized and professional from beginning to end.
These guys saved my life! My movers bailed on me last minute and they came on short notice and got everything done quickly and efficiently. They did a great job with everything and I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.
When I called to complain about the issues, the customer service team was rude and dismissive. They talked over me, refused to let me explain the situation, and basically told me there was nothing they could do. I’ve never dealt with such poor service.
The crew, Jared and Sherman, were incredible — so kind, professional, and easy to work with. They were extremely efficient and moved quickly while still taking great care of my belongings. One of the biggest highlights was receiving all of my things the same day they were picked up from my Detroit home.
If I could give them zero stars I would. The actual guys who moved the boxes were great, but the company lost five of my boxes, said they would pay me for them if I signed and notarized a form, and then NEVER sent payment. They also gave my number to the guy who brought the truck to my new apartment and he sent me a video of him having sex afterward. If you are moving an apartment DO NOT use this company, they are crooks.
What a great experience with this company. I moved so many time in my life but this was the best experience I ever had. The way they take care of your items it’s amazing. Professionally wrapping do you get no damages. Crew were great very efficient, they worked non stop and I really appreciate them. My sister will be using them also for her move to Florida. Will recommend Amex to everyone. Thanks again to Henry and his tea for great service 👌👌

The movers arrived late and spent the entire day blaming traffic, weather, and other random excuses for their delays. It was clear they weren’t taking responsibility for their poor planning. By the time they finished, it was dark, and I had no energy left to check if everything was intact. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.
What really impressed me was how smoothly everything was handled for such a big move—no surprises, no hidden fees, and my items arrived exactly when promised in perfect condition. The team was friendly, respectful, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process. If you’re looking for a moving company you can truly trust for a long-distance move, I highly recommend Cross Country Movers. They turned what could have been a stressful experience into a seamless and worry-free one.
