Read More BestMove Relocation has been a nightmare to work with. NEVER trust this company with your move. I booked my cross country move 4 months in advance. My priorities with this were (A) having my belongings arrive on time and (B) no surprise charges. The company seemed great at first. Richard, the sales person, assured me that there would be no surprise charges (unless I added more belongings, which is clearly understandable), the move would be full service, and since we were scheduling so far in advance that my belongings were sure to arrive on time. This part is especially important for a long distance move. I made sure to check on this numerous times prior to our pickup date. Days before pickup, I called the company as I had not heard from them. It is good that I did, because they said in order for my stuff to arrive on time, they actually had to pick up 3 days earlier. Although this was a pretty big change to our schedule, it was important to me that my stuff arrived on time. The crew showed up on the date of pickup... a 7 man team for a minimum load move. They counted my items and claimed that I was well over what I had stated, when in fact I was well below - short of a desk, two nightstands, 10 boxes, AND a 3 seater sofa. And also said they had to charge extra to tape a moving blanket around my TV and armchairs… even though they did this with every other item. Adjusting my $2,200 estimate to $2,900 on the spot. I argued with them back and forth, and ultimately decided to ALSO leave 2 armchairs and my TV - figuring I could buy them after my move... this made the price only $200 extra - criminal. I had HALF of the stuff I was originally quoted on and they still upcharged me nearly 10%. After this, they asked for a tip for their 7 man team, after taking all of 10 minutes to load the tiny move. After pickup, the team had 10 days to get my stuff from Seattle to Boston. My girlfriend and I arrived the day of our agreed upon delivery and were ghosted by BestMove's team when we tried to contact them. The next day we got ahold of them, they had no answers for us. No delivery date and no idea where our belongings were. So, the street parking I reserved for $170 in Boston for the truck is now down the drain and I have no clue on when to reschedule this for. We are now 5 days past our estimated delivery, sleeping on an air mattress, and still no answers. I call the company daily, most of the time it takes 4-5 attempts throughout the day for them to even answer. I am extremely frustrated with the dishonesty of this company, terrible customer service and poor performance. On my last call, I asked if they would be willing to at least partially refund, and they claim that there will be nothing of the sorts until they are 21 DAYS PAST THE DELIVERY DATE. I have never left a bad review like this, but this company should absolutely not be in business and I hope nobody else has this experience.

Giovanna was a fantastic sales rep—she explained everything clearly, gave me an honest quote, and followed up without being pushy. Then Diana from customer service stepped in and made sure the move went smoothly, checking in before and after. It’s rare to find a company where both sales and support are this strong. Read More I chose BestMove Relocation based on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. Their quote was transparent, with no surprise charges. The movers arrived on time, worked quickly but carefully, and were respectful of my home and belongings. They even helped reassemble some of my furniture. If you’re moving soon, don’t waste time shopping around—just call BestMove.

They do not honor contract. Per contract and fed regulation, if cost changes day of move, movers are required to provide new written estimate prior to loading truck. Move ... Read More They do not honor contract. Per contract and fed regulation, if cost changes day of move, movers are required to provide new written estimate prior to loading truck. Movers loaded 2/3 of my stuff and then verbally stated it would be $2500-$2700 for remaining items, but never provided new estimate, only Bill of Lading with final amount after all stuff loaded. Also, they are a broker; moving company sourced delivered several items damaged. Filed insurance claim and insurance company closed my claim because the moving company terminated their contract. BestMove said I would receive a call from the moving company for resolution, to date have not received any communication.
