I have become a huge fan of Amex Moving & Storage as a result of their great services and affordable costs. They don't provide false promises or scam individuals, which is a relief.
Moving can be a lot of work, but these guys did a good job. They took my crates and hobby gear to the new address. The crew was easy to talk to during the day.
Javier and his team handled the relocation of our medical office equipment. They treated each item with care and followed every instruction carefully. The movers double-checked details before loading and unloading, which gave me a lot of confidence. All items arrived safely and on time.
I'm giving them 5 stars for communication alone. The office sent text updates. The crew leader, Juan, called me 30 minutes before arrival. At the new place, he confirmed the room layout with me twice. Everyone knew the plan. We moved a king bed, two dressers, and a large sectional sofa. Everything went where it was supposed to.
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
Quick and helpful, the staff responded immediately. They spared no effort in making sure our order got here in one piece.
The moving process was well organized from start to finish. The crew arrived on time, handled everything with care, and completed the job within the estimated time. I appreciated their professionalism throughout the day.
The movers were courteous, efficient and very well organized. They named everything, loaded the truck in good order, and unloaded in good order. I loved how they kept me up to date throughout the process.
The whole process was just so simple. I booked online, got a confirmation right away, and the team showed up exactly when they said they would. They were friendly, worked hard, and that was that. It’s exactly what you want from a service like this.
The team helped me unload a few boxes at my new residence. Throughout, I was confident that my belongings were in capable care.
