The movers were courteous, efficient and very well organized. They named everything, loaded the truck in good order, and unloaded in good order. I loved how they kept me up to date throughout the process.
My time with Amex Moving & Storage was freaking awesome. The movers showed up right on time, just like they said. Dude, everything made it to the new spot crazy fast and was all pro-packaged and wrapped up. Man, they busted their butts, were super cool, and made a tough process go smoothly.
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
We hired them on our neighbor’s recommendation and it was a fantastic experience! All our furniture, décor and crockery were meticulously wrapped and encased in cushioned boxes. We received everything in excellent condition!
Beyond grateful! I had to reschedule the move twice. Both times, the office staff was quick to make the changes and update my paperwork without pushing fees. When they finally moved, all my information was on hand, and it went smoothly!

This was my first time using professional movers and AMEX Moving made the experience seamless! We packed our clothes and small items ourselves prior to moving day but Amex Moving did the rest - carefully wrapping our furniture, Frame TV, and disassembling and re-assembling our bed frame with their own tools. Everything arrived safely and with no damage! We have two small dogs and the team made our pups feel safe and gave us more time to tend to them during a process that can be scary to two small Italian greyhounds. Can't recommend this service enough and will definitely be using them again for our future moves!
Fragile items like glass tables and picture frames were packed with care. Everything reached the new home safely, and I couldn’t be happier with how attentive and respectful the movers were. They exceeded my expectations.
The staff arranged everything in my new apartment according to a meticulous tile floor. They used foam cushioning to pack the cords and remote controls for electronics. The movers were highly knowledgeable and offered me advice on settling in. Wonderful work!
