This company pays for fake reviews and doesn't allow any negative reviews to stay on any platform. All of their reviews are fake. Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.

Most Seamless Moving Process
The movers did an excellent job with my studio move. They handled all my items with care, packing everything securely. They were very respectful of my belongings and made sure everything was in its right place.

delightful experience
Loved the service! I had several large and heavy furniture pieces, including a custom-made dining table and oversized sectional sofa. However, the movers didn’t flinch at the challenge, handling each piece with care. They navigated tricky doorways and stairs without any issues. I was very impressed with the service they provided!

Expert movers from Amex Moving & Storage are reliable, courteous, and quick to respond. They expertly relocated my belongings while meticulously wrapping each one. In addition, they gave me specialized storage containers for my knitwear. A perfect score of five stars is very appropriate!

They were very responsive
I moved from a second-floor unit into a smaller space nearby, and most of my furniture was old and awkwardly shaped. I had a long dresser and a metal bed frame that I couldn't disassemble on my own. The movers came prepared with tools and figured it all out without damaging anything. They even helped place the bed exactly where I needed it in the new place.

This guys are pros
This team did a great job with my belongings when I moved into my new place. They spent several hours loading the truck and made sure to secure the loose items, so nothing shifted on the road. I stayed in the driveway while they worked, and they just kept a steady pace until the house was empty. My stuff all got to the new house in the same condition as when it left the old place.

They Were Mind Blowing
I moved from a second-floor apartment into a home with no elevator, which I thought would be a nightmare. The movers made it so easy. They were fast and didn’t hesitate with the heavy lifting. They even managed to get my bulky couch through a narrow hallway without issues. Everything was handled professionally and without damage. I was really impressed with the whole experience.
