I was REALLY happy because the whole process was really easy! My husband left the military, so we had to move our stuff from NY to DE. They called us when the truck was loaded and on its way. Our things were carefully unloaded at our new home.
I scheduled a same day move after finding a last minute rental. I did not have time to pack properly. The movers brought extra boxes and tape with them. They helped me pack my kitchen items and sealed everything securely. They kept track of smaller bags and did not leave anything behind. By evening, all my belongings were inside the new apartment and arranged room by room.
They took excellent care of the fragile artwork during my move. Every piece was wrapped with precision, transported carefully, and unpacked safely. I had been nervous, but they proved how professional and trustworthy movers can really be.
Amex Moving & Storage was fantastic the first time I used them. Arriving quickly, Javier and his crew were wonderful to work with because they were careful with everything and worked efficiently. I will most certainly choose them again.
I wrapped my old furniture with extra protection so that I could sleep with peace of mind. It was really meticulous. Excellent from start to finish!!!!!
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
Javier showed such professionalism during the move. He guided the team, answered my questions, and even made sure fragile items were double-checked. Having him in charge made me completely trust the process.
What I liked the most was how they dealt with my constant questions. I tend to overthink during moves, but they answered everything patiently without getting irritated. There were around 18 boxes, and each one was placed where I asked without any confusion. That kind of attention made the whole experience feel more comfortable.
I had a lot of bulky items to move, such as my dumbbells and elliptical machine. These movers were really strong and got everything loaded up with ease. These guys are good.
A flawless experience! The movers handled our bulky furniture and delicate artwork with equal precision. Will definitely hire them again!
