I am really impressed with how they handled my move yesterday. I had a very large refrigerator that needed to be moved into a tight kitchen space. The team from Amex Moving & Storage was very careful not to scratch the new tile floors or the walls. They were very friendly and even double checked that the fridge was level before they left. Not only were the movers tardy, but they also reeked of cigarette smoke. During their half hour smoke breaks, they lounged in my driveway, and i had to wait. Their lack of urgency and professionalism was shocking. Super frustrating experience!
The crew sorted the items and packed them so they wouldn't take up too much space. They even helped me decide what could go on top without causing damage. It was organized and quick, and I didn't have to make multiple trips.
I had to move my home gym setup, including the treadmill, squat rack, weights, and everything else, from my garage to a new house across town. I honestly expected a headache, but the movers handled it like they'd done it a hundred times. They disassembled what needed to be taken apart, wrapped the equipment properly, and reassembled it all at the new place exactly how I wanted.
This company has a good reputation for being a reliable mover. Very good value for the money. I've already used them twice this year, and both times were great. Good job, boys! Because safety was their main concern, they got my furniture to the new house in mint condition.
