I wholeheartedly recommend this company! From the initial phone conversation until the relocation day, they communicated well. The entire crew was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The relocation was rapid and efficient. Most notably, compared to previous movers, they were extremely cautious and took great care in transporting our stuff. It truly provided us with peace of mind.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Prior to booking an interstate move from NY to TN, we conducted two to three separate virtual walkthroughs with sales rep Patrick Harris. We explicitly emphasized that we wanted everything accurately inventoried to avoid any surprises or unexpected costs on moving day. Based on these virtual evaluations, he issued a signed Binding Estimate for $21,800.00. Once signed, Operations Manager Michelle Bar became our main contact—and dealing with her was an absolute nightmare. Every conversation was like walking on eggshells. She maintained a belligerent "take it or leave it" attitude, overtalking us with "Listen, listen, listen," refusing to let us speak, and threatening to hang up if we pushed back. At one point, she actually said, "You're lucky we even showed up." They arrived on the final afternoon of our pickup window at 4:00 PM—with the closing on our NY home scheduled for 9:30 AM the next morning. The crew kept us awake packing all night long from 4:00 PM until 6:30 AM, leaving us just three hours before closing. Before a single item was loaded onto the truck, on-site lead Henner Rodriguez claimed the job was larger than expected and put Michelle Bar on the phone. With our NY home sale closing hours away and a purchase closing on our new home in TN just days later, our backs were completely against the wall. Knowing we were trapped, she verbally forced a price jump to $32,700.00—an unauthorized $10,900.00 overcharge—before work would begin. In a desperate attempt to lower the cost, we were forced to purge valuable personal belongings on the spot, forcing us to repurchase those items out-of-pocket after arriving in Tennessee. Left with no choice on moving day, we had to agree under total duress. Delivery was then delayed for over two weeks because Michelle Bar insisted we needed a shuttle service and attempted to demand additional accessorial fees, despite our executed paperwork reflecting $0 shuttle charges and specifying two smaller delivery trucks. Upon delivery, our furniture arrived with severe physical damage, including structural breaks to our bedroom set and entertainment center, and our box spring arrived filthy and water-stained. I have officially filed formal regulatory complaints with: • Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration • New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs (Office of Consumer Protection) • Tennessee Attorney General's Office (Division of Consumer Affairs) Save yourself the stress, money, and property destruction. Avoid AMEX Moving & Storage at all costs.

An outstanding move!
The service was phenomenal from the booking to the delivery! Henry was a great foreman, he was super helpful and diligent! The entire team was kind and I did not have to lift a finger! This team made my hectic move—across several states—easy!

They did a great job from start to end
I had a move involving 3 stops and this company’s experts managed it perfectly. I was sure something would get mixed up. But the crew had a detailed checklist, color-coded tags, and triple-checked everything before leaving each site. Not one box went missing, and everything arrived in perfect order!

Happy to Hire them
The move itself goes off without a hitch. The messenger service works effectively in the vast majority of instances. It was a pleasure to work with them. I was pleasantly pleased by how little it cost to run. Suggested.

The whole experience was so pleasant
The crew carried antiques, boxes of books, and a heavy dresser without rushing. They asked questions and placed everything where it belonged. That meant a lot. Good Job Done...

GREAT moving experience
When lifting heavy objects, James and Maxwell went out of their way to preserve my walls and flooring because they covered everything in moving blankets and large foam sheets. They demonstrated their dedication to preventing harm by wrapping fragile goods in many layers of shrink wrap.

The whole experience was so pleasant
Amex Moving & Storage stepped in when another company dropped the ball and didn’t even show up. I called them and they were on it. They quickly got things set up and out to me. I should have just gone with them in the first flipping place.

Professional movers
Vicente and his team are superb and would go an extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. These guys were so nice throughout the move and made friends even with our little boy while doing their work and were never impatient when he wanted to just be apart. Five star in all the way!!

Well organized!
The moving crew arrived right on schedule and immediately got to work. They handled every box and piece of furniture with great care. Everything arrived safely, and the entire move was completed without any stress.
