We are very happy with how the move went. The crew helped us shift our shop from the city to the suburbs. The whole thing was done by the afternoon last Tuesday.
The crew sorted the items and packed them so they wouldn't take up too much space. They even helped me decide what could go on top without causing damage. It was organized and quick, and I didn't have to make multiple trips.
I wrapped my old furniture with extra protection so that I could sleep with peace of mind. It was really meticulous. Excellent from start to finish!!!!!
I am changing my original review which was only on pickup not the entire process. I moved from NY to Florida. I researched different moving companies and compare it to moving myself. The POD didn’t have the size I needed. AMERISAFE gave me a great discount that equaled to the cost of renting a U-HAUL truck one way. But their service included loading and unloading the truck. The other companies were comparable without the discount. AMERISAFE is a broker an outsource to a moving company which you won’t be aware of to review. They outsource the people to unload and load the items. There were 2 issues that resulted because of this: delivery date and requirements of accessibility for the truck. Initially I was told when the items are picked up it will be delivered within 4 days however it took 2 weeks and I didn’t receive 24 hour notice. I requested to be informed when the items were on the way but didn’t get one. I put an AirTag in one of the boxes which is how I was able to track it. The other issue was I had to make sure that the place can accommodate an18 wheeler. I had to switch my storage unit to ensure that the truck has access or I would be charge $500 for shuttling my item. My stuff was loaded/unloaded 4 times before it came to me. When the items finally arrived, some boxes were damaged and some storage bins were broken. I haven’t had a chance to go through the items to see if anything was broken but that isn’t covered by them since I packed it myself. I can’t compare them to any others but what I know now I would of drove my items down myself.
Javier showed such professionalism during the move. He guided the team, answered my questions, and even made sure fragile items were double-checked. Having him in charge made me completely trust the process.
They had great customer service. They paid close attention from the first call to after the move. Their dedication to making sure customers were happy was truly impressive.
Amex Moving & Storage handled my mom's move. She kept changing her mind about where to put furniture. Instead of rolling their eyes, they just moved it again. That kind of patience goes a long way in stressful times.
Amex Moving & Storage moving services totally rocked my world! Last year's movers were a complete disaster compared to this awesome crew. They actually cared about my stuff, including my precious deep fryer, electric heater, and steamer!!
