Read More We needed movers to move our son from Charlotte to Baltimore. Americas Moving was reasonably priced and saved us $1500 by suggesting we we have then use a national intermediary to move our things from one state to another which took a few days longer but as I said saved us a lot of money. Their office staff was very helpful and their movers were timely and courteous. They did damage a TV stand and agreed to pay for it with no hassle. I would use them again

Read More This team is very easy to communicate with. From the very beginning we FaceTimed so they knew exactly what was needed to be moved. The quote included a very transparent list of cost. And if you need to remove anything, they will provide an updated quote before your move with updated costs. The 3 gentlemen that came were very friendly and efficient. took care of everything prior to wrapping it and was very care of the walls. I would use them again if we were to move in the future.

They took care with every item and made sure it was wrapped and protected before doing anything. If you're upfront with them they are upfront with you.

Read More Our total cost went from $1975.75 to $4800. America’s Moving and Storage/DOWNLINE CONSULT MOVING EXP PPD (name displayed in my account) is a rip-off. I would not recommend this company for any service. Be CAREFUL when dealing with this company. I should have known that they would scam us because they did not want to take a credit card payment, only bank account information is accepted according to the representative Gabriel. Oh, and because we refused to pay anymore money they kept our $870 deposit.

The movers arrived on time, created a detailed inventory, and secured everything carefully before hitting the road. My dining table and artwork arrived without a mark, and nothing was missing when the truck was unloaded. The entire process felt transparent, and the final cost was exactly what I expected for a move of this size.

Read More This broker doesn't actually touch anything. They take your "deposit" as profit and then subcontract the work out to the lowest bidders. This front operates as borderline fraud. If you call their customer support, they deny, delay, and insist that they need an email or that they've "escalated to a specialist". Anything to get you off the phone. They can never tell you where your stuff is because quite honestly, they don't know. It's with whatever fly by night movers that bid the lowest. On top of that, they intentionally underestimated the amount of stuff we had so that the "estimate" would be low. Then when the movers show up, they charge you for what you're actually shipping.
