Read More I have never had such a bad experience. I booked everything out months in advance and received a quote I liked. When pickup day finally arrived, they did not show up or call me to tell me they were moving the date to the next day. The worst thing was that after they loaded my furniture, they told me the cost was going to be 3x the amount in the quote. I understand an estimate is not exact, but 3x is ridiculous when I did not add any extra last-minute items and it is a small 1-bedroom apartment. I was then told that if I did not pay immediately, they would tack on extra fees for delays, so there was no time to argue or explore other options. The movers picked up my stuff on a Sunday when the office was closed and dropped it off on a Monday before the office opened. When I asked customer service for help, I was told they would not review my receipts and case and that there was nothing they could do because it was past the delivery date, even though the office was closed during the entire delivery window. I got stuck paying over $5000 on a $2300 moving quote, and they would not do a thing.

I organized my shelves neatly, and no books were bent. The best part was how everything was loaded into the vehicle. William carefully loaded my piano. They unloaded and arranged everything in the new house without any hassle.

They will try to lock you In a good price only to switch later and your stuck with paying them money which can't be refunded. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company and not this . My lawyer is looking into them for harassment

All thanks to them, our relocation to our apartment wrapped up on schedule (in 4 days only). We cannot thank them enough for providing nothing but quality!

Read More I gotta be real…but damn, am I glad I went with Americas Moving and Storage. These guys came in and got straight to work, taking care of everything without any drama. They loaded up my air conditioners and metal furniture like it was nothing. They detached and removed them from the walls and windows, and they used blankets and tape to cover them up. They unplugged and wrapped them up in bubble wrap and cardboard, and they placed them in padded crates. They were very gentle and cautious, and they made sure nothing was broken or bent.

Read More America's Moving And Storage ripped me off completely. I called for an estimate and gave very exact space measurements, because I was moving from a storage unit, not a house. I repeatedly gave the exact volume of the storage unit and an accurate list of the contents. I had over 80 boxes. The sales representative, Grant Hill (at least that is what he SAID his name was) quoted me just over 2000 dollars to move the contents of my 10x7x7 storage unit from Seattle to Phoenix. I have never paid for a move before, so saw no problem with that price. 2 days after they had taken the non refundable 50% deposit straight from my bank account, I got a call from their customer service to "go over details". I repeatedly the information I had given the original sales rep. They exclaimed "Oh no! That isn't right!" And told me that it would cost me $1700 more dollars to move exactly what he had quoted me at $2000. I ended up only moving half my stuff and now have 2 storage unit payments for at least the next 9 months.
