Top notch folks who looked after my stuff like it was their own.

Read More Extremely Misleading and Disappointing Experience DO NOT USE!!! Please read carefully!!! In my experience, this was one of the most frustrating and misleading service experiences I have ever had. At no point during the sales process was it clearly disclosed to me that America’s Moving & Storage operates strictly as a broker and that a completely different company would ultimately handle my shipment. I was led to believe I was hiring a moving company, not entering into an arrangement where another carrier would take over and all responsibility would later be shifted elsewhere. The sales representative I spoke with, James, was responsive and engaged right up until I signed the documents. The very next day, he completely disappeared. Calls were no longer returned, and I was redirected exclusively to “customer service,” with no further accountability from the person who initially handled my booking. The $0.60 per pound valuation was never meaningfully explained in practical terms. While paperwork was signed, no one clearly outlined the real financial consequences of waiving Full Value Protection. Only after damages occurred was I told that reimbursement would be calculated strictly by weight, resulting in a settlement amount that bears no reasonable relationship to the actual value of the damaged property. It was also never properly explained that, in the event of damage, I would have to deal directly with a separate carrier while the broker would deny responsibility. This lack of transparency created a situation where accountability was effectively avoided. In my experience, this company relies heavily on dense contractual language and shifts responsibility once payment has been secured. The agreements presented felt one-sided, and the process left me feeling pressured and uninformed. Save yourself the stress, financial risk, and wasted energy. I deeply regret using this company. It has been one of the worst service experiences I have encountered. Due to what I believe to be a lack of transparency and good faith in the handling of this matter, I am pursuing formal action.

They took great care to avoid leaving any marks on the walls or entrances and handled every item of furniture with caution. We are so happy with their outstanding.
