I recently moved from Houston to Seattle, WA using America First Moving, and overall it was a very good experience. The entire process was well organized and handled professionally from start to finish. The movers took great care of my belongings, especially my fragile glass table and bedroom furniture, making sure everything was well protected during the move. Everything arrived safely without any damage, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that the delivery was about an hour late, but the team communicated and still worked efficiently. Overall, I’d give America First Moving 4 stars for reliable and careful service.
I moved my two bedroom apartment from Boulder, Colorado to Tampa, Florida for a new job. America First Moving handled packing, loading, and delivery with great care. Everything arrived intact and on schedule, making the process stress free. The crew was professional and courteous throughout the entire move.
Only after money, will increase bid by more than $1,000.00. Shows up late by several hours or puts off till next day. Movers smelled like weed. Boxes crushed. Mentioned tip 9 times while unloading. Worst broker in business. They have snotty customer service, who doesn't care. I'm sure they get yelled at a lot, with the service they provide. Buyer be ware.
We moved from Naples, FL to Nashville, TN because my husband got promoted. America First Moving handled our 4-bedroom home, including a piano that’s been in the family for generations. I was amazed at how carefully they protected it. Everything was done on time, and the movers were respectful and friendly.
We relocated from Mount Pleasant, SC to Naperville, IL and America 1st Moving exceeded expectations with their level of care and organization. The movers worked efficiently while ensuring every piece of furniture was protected properly. It was one of the most professional moving experiences we’ve had.
So we had a drop off date of June 10th or 12th I was told today that we will not get our belongings until the 15 or 16th. Sitting here in our new home with none of our belongings. I would not recommend this company to anyone. These guys are brokers and once they get paid you’re basically at the mercy of whoever they find to pick up and drop off your belongings. On top of that you agree on a price sign the contract and then they want more money out of you because they have no idea the sizes and shapes of your belongings so what you think your getting is not what you actually get unless you want to pay more.
We moved from Nashville, Tennessee to Charleston, South Carolina, and America First Moving handled it beautifully. Their team packed everything in one day and delivered within the week. They communicated every step of the way, and even our fragile decorations arrived without a scratch.

DO NOT USE. Scammers and crooks. Any positive reviews are scams. Check out their better business bureau rating. Here are the facts: 1. Your price will double 2 days before the pickup. (Bait and switch) 2. If you want it within the 2-3 days you asked for delivery they will add $1K (no disclosure at sale.) Without paying this, expect items to arrive 3-4 weeks later. 3. Your items get moved on/off trucks-warehouse multiple times. Boxes THROWN on the truck in a pile. Zero professional movers involved. 4. Items will be damaged and totally LOST. 5. You won't be compensated. Your credit company can't help. 6. The people who sell you the contract will vanish; the service reps will blame you for everything. MY ADVICE: A cross country move will only go well if you do it yourself (UHaul pod serice is fabulous, 1/3rd the cost) or hire a prominent national mover.
