We relocated from Irvine, CA to Boise, ID and had high expectations due to past moving experiences. America First Moving delivered exceptional service, from protective wrapping to furniture reassembly. The crew was courteous, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with long-distance moves.
They were very nice and responsive until they cheat you. The moving teams showed up 4 hours before scheduled I was unprepared because I had a lot to take care of before the move. They demanded a $220 tip for junking a bed frame right outside the apartment. They didn't give me a chance to do a walk through after the move because when they called me to say they already left while I was at the dog park. I had to end up paying a smaller moving company to get all the stuff they left behind in my apartment the next day. When you call the back to complain they ghost you. Don't trust them with all that 25 years in the business crap they will tell you.

After getting a promotion, I needed to move quickly from Jacksonville, FL to Austin, TX. America First Moving jumped in on short notice and packed my 2-bedroom apartment in half a day. I travel a lot for work, so knowing everything was in safe hands gave me peace of mind. Nothing was scratched or missing.
I moved from a 3-bedroom home in Port Orange to a house in New Smyrna Beach, and America First Moving did a fantastic job. They packed my furniture and electronics safely, handled my fragile items with care, and worked quickly without any problems. I couldn’t be happier with their service.
DO NOT USE. Scammers and crooks. Any positive reviews are scams. Check out their better business bureau rating. Here are the facts: 1. Your price will double 2 days before the pickup. (Bait and switch) 2. If you want it within the 2-3 days you asked for delivery they will add $1K (no disclosure at sale.) Without paying this, expect items to arrive 3-4 weeks later. 3. Your items get moved on/off trucks-warehouse multiple times. Boxes THROWN on the truck in a pile. Zero professional movers involved. 4. Items will be damaged and totally LOST. 5. You won't be compensated. Your credit company can't help. 6. The people who sell you the contract will vanish; the service reps will blame you for everything. MY ADVICE: A cross country move will only go well if you do it yourself (UHaul pod serice is fabulous, 1/3rd the cost) or hire a prominent national mover.
I moved from Fresno, CA to Denver, CO and was impressed with how organized the entire move was. The movers handled my belongings carefully, especially my glass table and bedroom furniture, and everything arrived right on schedule.
If i could give zero starts, I would. This company is an absolute scam. Even though we showed him all the items in the video call for couple of hrs. They intentionally gave us a low ball estimate by reducing the cubic ft. On the day of pickup, they would argue about the cubic ft and the person who originally estimated wont pickup your call. When they estimate, they would do sweet talk to get the order. We had to pay additional 30% of the money since we dont have choice at the time of pickup. Whats worse is, they blatantly lied about not out sourcing - my move was handled by multiple different companies, none of which were professional or reliable. All of our Bi-cycles broke, some of the boxes were damaged. Initially they told they will deliver in 2-3 days when they want to get the order but they delivered only after 2 weeks. The guys who delivered made all of our carpet dirty in our apartment. We asked to clean it up but they didnt saying they dont have cleaning stuff and they have to urgently deliver something else. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want stress, hidden fees, broken promises and zero accountability. Total nightmare.
Moving my 4-bedroom house from Tampa to Nashville, TN felt overwhelming at first, but America First Moving took all the stress away. The team was professional and friendly, wrapping my fragile items in extra padding and making sure my antique dresser arrived without a mark. They worked quickly but never sacrificed quality, and delivery was right on schedule. I would trust them again in a heartbeat for any big move.
