We relocated from Irvine, CA to Boise, ID, and America 1st Moving exceeded expectations with their packing quality. Furniture was protected thoroughly, and every item arrived in perfect condition. The level of organization and attention to detail showed real expertise in long distance moves.
Our family moved from Gainesville, FL to Atlanta, GA with a 3 bedroom home. The movers were polite, efficient, and treated our belongings with respect. I really appreciated how communicative the office staff was throughout the process.
I relocated from Burlington, VT to Tampa, FL and America First Moving made the entire process much easier than I expected. The crew arrived on time, wrapped every piece of furniture carefully, and stayed very organized while loading the truck. Delivery happened within the estimated window and everything arrived without a scratch.
This company sold us on a so-called “White Glove Service,” which is exactly why we agreed to pay their much higher price — over $3,600 more than the competition. The service was specifically described to us as including: “Packing, transportation, storage, delivery, UNPACKING, and putting all items where they belong, with the exception of kitchen boxes. You won’t have to do a thing — just sit back and watch.” Delivery day came, and not a single box was unpacked. The salesman promised one thing verbally, then changed the wording in the contract so the company could hide behind technical language and keep our money. First, they claimed unpacking “wasn’t in the contract.” When I asked them to review the recorded sales call, they changed their story again and said “White Glove Service” is just an expression — not an actual service they provide. That is plain and simple fraud. To make matters worse, they offered us a $200 “good faith gesture” only if we signed a document stating that: • We received all services promised verbally and in writing • We would not dispute the charges • We would not pursue any additional complaints It felt less like customer service and more like dealing with a moving mafia. If this review helps even one or two people avoid this company and their deceptive practices, then they can keep the $200.
Moving a 2-bedroom condo from Gainesville to Raleigh, NC was stressful until America First Moving stepped in. They packed everything fast but carefully, kept me updated during the drive, and even helped with furniture placement at the new place.
My experience with America First Moving was better than i expected. I've used Moving companies before, in the past and I've always ended up with a broken item or something missing upon delivery or movers who weren't careful loading from truck into my home. That wasn't the case with America First Moving. First, i received a quote that was lower than over 90% of other companies I've contacted for the same job. Next i was connected with a move coordinator who let me know what to expect step-by-step. Once the formalities were complete, the movers the company sent carefully and quickly packaged and loaded all items into the truck. I was moving to Florida from Vermont and i received real time updates of the drivers progress/ location, which made me feel secure during the traveling process. The driver arrived on time, my items were unloaded by their movers and they even helped me assemble a few tables and furniture. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to move from A-B with no problems or worries.

They arrived right on time, packed my fragile kitchenware and artwork with care, and handled my furniture without a single scratch. The movers were professional, efficient, and really friendly.
