True professionals!
It poured rain on my moving day, and I was sure my furniture would get soaked. But Alma Moving came prepared. They had heavy-duty plastic covers for my mattresses, waterproof tarps for loading and unloading, and used fast-drying cloths to wipe down furniture before bringing it inside. Despite the storm, nothing got wet or damaged, and they didn’t rush when thunder started rolling in. True professionals!

It all worked out well
The movers did a great job in every way. They were skilled, careful, and easy to work with. Plus, their costs were a lot lower than those of their rivals. We strongly advise you to use Alma Moving if you want a smooth and nice moving experience.

Keep away your valuables from this company
We hired Alma Moving to move our belongings from Charlotte, NC to Norfolk, VA (only a 5-hour distance). Before signing, their representative promised delivery within 1–3 days. Based on this, we signed. • After pickup on August 15, nothing arrived within 3 days. • Then they told us 7 days. Still nothing. • Later, they claimed our belongings were “on the way,” but weeks passed. Today it has been 25 days, and we still don’t know where our belongings are. They never respond to emails, only through BBB. We even asked to pick up our items ourselves, but they ignored us. At pickup, their staff wrapped our couch in a dirty blanket, even though we provided clean plastic covers. This makes us worry that our items are being stored in poor, unhygienic conditions. We have been forced to live in an empty house, buy new essentials, and suffer both financial and emotional stress. If our belongings arrive damaged, we will take legal action. We strongly warn others: do not trust Alma Moving. They are misleading, unprofessional, and provide false information just to make you sign.

Applied for account more than 3 weeks no-reply, no response but in alma dashboard its say 48 hours, already email 3 or 4 times, still no response. Unsatisfied customer SERVICE Is this company still running ??

Their efficiency and friendliness made packing our house a breeze. No matter the weather, they were positive and meticulous, even going to great lengths to protect our fragile belongings in their packaging. Their ability to pack a truck so quickly astounded us, and we are grateful for all that they accomplished. Everyone should work with Alma Moving and these three men.

Stellar service from Alma Moving.
I am truly enjoying my time here. They handled everything with great competence. My parents sold our house, so they had to leave us soon. Despite the little notice we gave, they nonetheless agreed to the adjustment. They were upbeat and competent in implementing their plan.

Keep away your valuables from this company
The movers took many breaks throughout the task, including a 45-minute lunch break while the clock ran. It seemed like a rip-off when I had to pay for their longer break time. They need to manage their time more fairly and effectively.

Fast, Careful Long Distance

Great service and lovely to deal with
These specialists from Alma Moving are the real deal. My antique furniture required special handling, and they brought extra blankets and foam pads just for that. They took photos before disassembling anything, so reassembly was a breeze at the new house. I also noticed they wore gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints on polished surfaces. Talk about professional! The entire experience felt like first-class treatment for my possessions.
