Moving our family home felt like a daunting task, but Alma Moving made it seamless. They showed up on time, and each mover introduced themselves with a smile. They started by carefully wrapping our big-screen TV in thick, cushioned blankets, making sure it was safe for transit. The movers then packed our kids' bunk beds, disassembling them neatly and labeling each part for easy reassembly. The truck was packed with a precision I’d never seen before—every box and piece of furniture fit like a puzzle. By the end of the day, we were settling into our new home without a single item scratched or broken.

The movers were punctual, courteous, and diligent the whole time. Great appreciation to the wonderful people. Did I have any special requirements? They wanted to know if I was happy with everything. They double-checked the invoice with me to confirm completion before they departed. Amazing job.

Keep away your valuables from this company
We hired Alma Moving to move our belongings from Charlotte, NC to Norfolk, VA (only a 5-hour distance). Before signing, their representative promised delivery within 1–3 days. Based on this, we signed. • After pickup on August 15, nothing arrived within 3 days. • Then they told us 7 days. Still nothing. • Later, they claimed our belongings were “on the way,” but weeks passed. Today it has been 25 days, and we still don’t know where our belongings are. They never respond to emails, only through BBB. We even asked to pick up our items ourselves, but they ignored us. At pickup, their staff wrapped our couch in a dirty blanket, even though we provided clean plastic covers. This makes us worry that our items are being stored in poor, unhygienic conditions. We have been forced to live in an empty house, buy new essentials, and suffer both financial and emotional stress. If our belongings arrive damaged, we will take legal action. We strongly warn others: do not trust Alma Moving. They are misleading, unprofessional, and provide false information just to make you sign.

Exceptional service
I needed assistance moving across the street with my spouse. We chose this firm due to their excellent service and affordable price. Our appointed movers were real experts. Excellent from start to finish!!!!!
We had a last-minute move with several heavy wardrobes. Alma Moving showed up on short notice, wrapped the furniture with blankets, and carried everything down three flights of stairs without damaging a thing.
