We moved to shorten our commute, and the movers made everything easy. They packed all our belongings securely and unloaded them efficiently. Their professionalism saved us time and effort.
The movers were absolutely amazing. They were very respectful of our piano, in spite of the fact that they had to carry it up multiple flights. I cannot say enough good words. it arrived without a scratch and put back together with ease yet gently.
They were respectful of all the items, even helping prep or fill boxes once the bigger items were done and always smiling and happily keeping a positive attitude with us despite the nearly 100 degree afternoon heat. I couldn’t have asked for better service or movers and I’m so grateful for their willingness to step up & help us out on their day off! Very much appreciated for everyone who helped us make our last minute move possible. By the way - very fair pricing too which is just icing on the cake in a pinch!!
What a terrible experience. I was given an estimate. It was fair. Then the ugly started. Five days before the pickup my estimate was raised substantially. I removed a few things from the original estimate. And added a few things. The cubic feet only increased by about 25 cf. My estimate increased over $1500…. On their website they have a big X VanLines truck. Drivers with X VanLines t-shirts. I got a random truck. And random drivers. They refused to show me identification. They refused to show me their license to drive a truck. They were late, rude, and mean. The police were eventually called. They had all of my worldly possessions. It was incredibly stressful and scary. The delivery wasn’t much better. The driver had an awful attitude. X VanLines “Flat Pricing” and “No Hidden Surprises. Ever.” is a joke. Literally every part of this move was a surprise. The price increase. The location of my belongings. When I was going to receive my belongings. Who the people were that had my belongings. Please don’t hire this company. I have never been treated like this in my life. And please pass this on to friends and family.
The team was exceptionally organized and moved with military-like precision. Every item was padded, packed, and placed with absolute care. They treated my antique dresser like a museum piece. I was BLOWN AWAY by their professionalism! Truly a seamless relocation. I’ve already recommended them to two friends!
