The movers were absolutely amazing. They were very respectful of our piano, in spite of the fact that they had to carry it up multiple flights. I cannot say enough good words. it arrived without a scratch and put back together with ease yet gently.
DO NOT USE THIS MOVER. They sound great at first, talked to Joe, got a quote thought this was going to be easy since all the other reviews are 5 stars. No. 2 days before my move that I had scheduled a month ahead, still hadn't received any type of confirmation or pick up timing. Kept calling, was told that I would receive a call from dispatch the day before. Still didn't receive any calls the day before so had to keep calling and calling and finally was put through with a supervisor, Joseph, that told me somehow my move had slipped through the cracks entirely. Come moving day, movers showed up late and did the poorest packing job ever (paid $400+ just for packing). Also tried to charge me fees that were not part of the contract and double what was listed in the original contract provided when I booked my move. Refused to give me a receipt of what I paid, told me I would receive that via email from the company. When my stuff was loaded, had to pay 1/2 of balance, few day liters I get a balance that doesn't reflect the half already paid. Called them and told them bank had a receipt of my check being cashed, was told I would get an updated balance, which never came. Called back few days later and was supposed to be transferred to supervisor however was hung up on and then phone number was unreachable. When delivery day came, the carrier tried to add more fees on top, (close to $800) most of which were written no where in the contract and the fee amounts that were, they were trying to once again get my to pay double from what was listed in my original contract. Most of my items are damaged, completely broken, soiled, or missing. A lot didn't have stickers on them so movers weren't sure what belonged to me and other items are unaccounted for. The inventory list they provided wasn't even complete. I don't know who wrote all these 5 star reviews but do yourself a favor and pick anyone else. Don't fall for this scam of a moving company,
My moving day went smoother than I could have imagined. The crew was on time, friendly, and efficient. They handled my fragile dishes like experts and kept everything organized. The final bill was fair, and worth every penny. I would recommend them without hesitation!
On moving day, Paul and his team were efficient, kind, and extremely careful. They disassembled items, packed what we hadn’t finished, and wrapped everything with great care. Two team members drove the trucks to South Carolina and unloaded everything the very next day. The pricing was very fair, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free.
Crew arrived early. Didn’t waste a second. Light conversation, but mostly worked in silence. Truck filled up before I realized it. They knew where to step and how to lift. Items were treated gently. Delivery was just as focused.
Yeah....it's a no for me!! Called for a quote, then I was asked what other prices have I gotten, WHAT AM I COMFORTABLE PAYING, does putting some things in storage make financial sense, why am I leaving things in 1 state when I'm moving to another.....then the person hung up on me because I'm sure he could sense I wasn't about to be interrogated about a decision I'd made. I called for a quote, not life advice.
Very grateful and thankful for X Van Lines LLC !! I received a quote no less than 24hrs. Very professional and reasonable services were provided for me. Even with my last minute add on services that were offered and provided. I definitely would use Chap’s Professional Movers again and I would definitely recommend them to anyone whom I know that is in need of any future moving services. We had a great experience with X Van Lines LLC! They were incredibly flexible with our uncertain moving plans and communicated with us every step of the way. The movers were considerate with our furniture and household items, working quickly but never rushing. They checked in ahead of time, let us know when they were on their way, and responded to our questions promptly. Everything felt professional, friendly, and well-organized—highly recommend!
They were great! Needed to move my piano and other furniture after a flood. They were careful w everything I’ll use them for sure again if I ever need another mover!
Very communicative and very professional. Make sure to read everything. I did not and had to opt into having them pack my TVs. Not bad price. $50 each TV and they are liable for them. Reasonably priced as well.
