Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
Moving from a really challenging location, I was worried, but these guys from Value Added Moving made the whole process look easy. We had a great experience — they did a great job.
The two workers did a great job and were punctual. They moved the items quickly and even placed some of the large furniture in their proper areas at the new location. Thanks!
The movers that came made it very easy. They could assemble and reassemble all furniture that needed to be moved. Also was also the uninstall and reinstall appliances. I definitely recommend.
They did a great job moving a French door refrigerator into my house. This older house has smaller doorways but he was able to maneuver the fridge through them, and did so without complaining or asking for more money. He's a standup guy with old school work ethics and values. Definitely a service provider I will use again. Thanks.
The move took longer than expected but they were patient throughout the process. To me, courtesy and a positive attitude is way more important than the profile of the company and how many moves they have done. They knocked it out of the park with him and his team. Highly recommended!
I had such a great experience with them! He and his team were responsive, honest, punctual and professional. They were very thorough in the way they treated my belongings and they moved everything right on time without a scratch on anything. 10 out of 10 and I’d highly recommend!
He and his team really went above and beyond to make my daughters move easy and painless as possible. I can’t thank them enough. The price was accurate, no hidden fees or additional costs. I will definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone looking for a professional company and an excellent moving team.
I had an excellent experience with this moving company. The team was professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They handled everything with care, worked efficiently, and kept everything clean and organized.
Water the plants the night before a move, not the morning of. A hydrated plant rides better, sheds fewer leaves, and forgives the hours sealed in the car or truck. The morning of the move is chaos enough without adding a watering can to the list. Do it the night before, let the soil settle, and wrap the pots in the morning with the leaves already perked up. People who move plants from Miami to a new balcony say the watering timing makes the difference between a plant that arrives and a plant that survives. The crew will handle the pots carefully either way; the plant's own condition is up to the days before. Value Added Moving crews see a lot of plants on South Florida moves, and the healthy ones were almost always watered ahead of time.
This moving company was excellent! The guys were super kind and handled my items with care. They were extremely polite and efficient. I would certainly hire them again. They went above and beyond and the company is super responsive and communicative which helps alleviate the stress of moving. Thank You!!
