Put the bed together right away so you have a place to rest, then move on to the desk and the boxes you labeled most important. Check each box against your inventory as it comes in, because a small load makes missing items easy to spot. In Gainesville, summer heat can be rough on electronics, so plug in the AC early and give appliances an hour to adjust before turning them on. Walk the room after the crew leaves and photograph any dings before you start moving furniture around. If anything arrived damaged or short, report it to Value Added Moving within the first few days so the paperwork stays straightforward.

On moving day they were right on time and wrapped all our furniture with care. Delivery was perfect and they drove through the night to deliver the next morning.

I also felt like they were very knowledgeable about what they were doing(i.e. Dissembling/assembling our furniture). They handled all my items with care.

Read More This company went above and beyond in their work on my move to downsize my office! Excellent moving skills - especially navigating some very heavy sit/stand desks in narrow stairwells - and they were careful with each box. We had to move items between four locations, and they were well ordained and prepared to haul away the items that were marked for recycling. Highly recommend this team!
