From handling our large furniture to carefully packing our children’s toys, they ensured everything was safe and organized. They even managed to keep things running smoothly despite a slight drizzle on moving day. They couldn’t have been more professional!

Read More I never leave bad reviews, but I just had literally the worst customer service experience in my 41 years. My family and I are facing a life changing move in the next year or two (and it could very well be less, which is adding to the stress), and in preparation I am attempting to figure out how much to budget for moving expenses. I was up front that we are NOT moving immediately and that I understand that the quote will not be 100% accurate, I just wanted an idea of their prices in comparison with some other quotes I've received to help winnow down which company I'd like to go with. Every single other company I've reached out to was happy to give me a general quote. Every single other company was polite and respectful, save this one. For whatever reason the "moving specialist" who called me this morning decided to give me the third degree, asking me "what my angle was" and essentially making me feel like I'd committed a major mistake in "wasting" his valuable time. I come from a customer service background and was so shocked by his rude behavior that I was stunned speechless and actually got that pit in my stomach that I used to when I was doing call center work and got a screamer. Uncomfortable doesn't even begin to describe it. I was being grilled over an innocent attempt to compare their services to others, and the agent was actually escalating the call as I was trying to deescalate it (again, background in CS. I know how to deal with jerks on the phone). He told me inflation and oil prices would make the estimate go up as more time passed, I told him I understood. I *just* wanted a handle on their rates vs others. When he raised his voice and rudely asked me what I thought I was doing, I came to my senses, remembered that I was the customer and HE called ME, and I told him "never mind" and terminated the call. That man has no business being on the phone and if that's his one function at the company he should be sacked. He made me incredibly uncomfortable. It's hours later and I'm STILL bothered by it. At least when I was working at the call center I had my defenses up. I DO NOT expect to be spoken to in that manner by someone representing a service that I am planning on using, which is why I've been caught flat footed. This was the worst treatment I have ever had as a customer in my life, and I absolutely will not give this company my business and will be telling my in-laws who are making the same move in 4 months to avoid them as well. A simple "we don't give quotes more than a few months out" would have sufficed, but their agent both made me feel like an idiot for bothering to fill out their online questionnaire and for bothering to answer the phone. 1/10, avoid at all costs.
