Moving company in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
I wouldn't recommend this company. The movers showed up without enough equipment, struggled to move basic furniture, and wasted time figuring things out. The final bill was much higher because the job took far longer than it should have.
The move had several avoidable problems from beginning to end. There was a late arrival, unclear communication, and the work took considerably longer than expected. I spent much of the day trying to keep everything on track. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
United Express Moving & Storage gave very deceptive cost quotes throughout the process. Their final cost was 40% higher (final $2,500 vs original $1,500) than the original estimate while the number of items actually moved only had 2 additional items vs the original estimate. Both the sales rep (who provided the initial estimate) and the Quality Control person (who finalized items to be moved), made huge misrepresentations and extremely underestimated the cubic footage and cost. And they do NOT offer any compromise, such as reducing my final cost, even a token amount. And they hold your furniture hostage until you pay in full. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER FOR ANY MOVES!!!
Even though my apartment had tight stairways, the movers never struggled. They worked together perfectly, lifting and maneuvering heavy items without bumping into anything. It was impressive to watch, and everything arrived safely.
My one-bedroom apartment move was quick and simple. The movers carried boxes, lifted my couch, and placed everything where I wanted in the new place. It felt surprisingly easy compared to my past moving experiences.
The crew worked hard and kept a positive attitude throughout the move. They protected the furniture, handled the boxes carefully, and stayed organized during unloading. Overall, the relocation went smoothly.
The move started off okay, but it quickly became obvious the crew lacked experience. They bumped walls, scratched my dining table, and worked so slowly that I had to help move boxes myself.
Even my plants were given special care. The movers placed them upright, kept them away from heavy boxes, and made sure they had airflow in the truck. That thoughtful detail meant they arrived looking perfectly healthy.
I had thought that I would have at least one broken piece after I moved, but thankfully everything made it to me in good condition. I had lots of friends recommend United Express Moving And Storage movers to me, and I can see why. They wrapped up my glass dining table and I was amazed that nothing happened to it during the journey. They were careful with my delicate objects and checked to make sure everything was in order before they set off.
I felt relieved when United Express Moving & Storage carefully handled my oversized couch. They maneuvered around corners like experts, protected the walls, and reassembled it quickly. Watching them work with precision gave me real peace of mind.
