Read More DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am disappointed and yet not at all surprised to see the other two reviews posted this past month, particularly where it comes to the atrocious service and lies told by Jon Davis, a "personal moving representative" assigned to my cross-country move. Jon made countless promises that were complete scams. I was told it is a half price rate if I book prior to the busy season starting, and the rate would be binding. I was told AND HAD IT WRITTEN INTO THE CONTRACT that the latest delivery date would be June 3-5. After my initial quote, I did choose to make several changes to my shipment (addition of a large number of boxes, but removal of several large items such as coffee tables and bookcases). I contacted Jon over 7 times via email, voicemail and text (on the personal number he told me to use, as well as those written on the paperwork) to discuss this as I assumed it would cause a change in price, which I was fine with as long as I got a revised quote up front. Fast forward three more weeks, no word from Jon. I finally was able to get ahold of him the day before they were supposed to pick up my shipment (at the end of May). He said he was sorry for the delay, but "he has so many voicemails to return, at least 12 other antsy customers before he can look into where my movers are" and assured me that my changes would not warrant a change in the contract, and he would call me if anything changed. On the day of the move, nobody showed up. Yet again, I could not get ahold of Jon. When I finally heard back from dispatch (still not my "personal 24/7 move representative", they called me and said they had no record of my move at all and that my file had been closed. They let me know they would reopen and send someone out the next morning. At 7 pm the next night, the movers finally said they would be there in an hour. They showed up and had no idea about the updated inventory and were NOT impressed. After some initial tense words and a scolding by them for "not trying hard enough to get a response on the updated inventory", they re-inventoried the items and DOUBLED my quote from $3K to $6K. Then, they also insisted I paid via Zelle, not credit card as Jon had promised. After they loaded up and left, I tracked down Jon after days of calling, emailing and texting repeatedly (I'm talking a LOT of messages). He said that I shouldn't worry about how much more it costs, and to send him the contract and he will try and take some money off (which has to date not happened or even been discussed again). It gets to the 3rd, and I am in my new home across the country and contact dispatch for their arrival (again guaranteed between the 3rd-5th in writing in the contract). I was told not only had they not left yet, they had no intention of leaving for UP TO A MONTH because "they don't usually do cross country trips, so they want to wait until they can find a truck, a driver, and enough families to make it worth their while". Again, could not get ahold of Jon. I had to move into a hotel and cancel all business travel, jeopardizing my job as I had no clue when/if anything would show up. After struggling to get ahold of dispatch, I asked my family to try as they are on East Coast hours. The dispatch team repeatedly yelled, told them "I don't care about her stuff, she'll get it if and when she gets it, stop calling" and hanging up. Again, no word back from Jon other than one message saying "I'll look into this right now, and get back to you in a few minutes - this is why I'm your personal moving assistant ;-)". The other information both Jon and dispatch continued to say was that they could never have guaranteed a delivery date (despite it being written clear as day and signed), and they legally have 21 days to deliver my items. When they finally showed up on the 23rd day (yes Jon, I kept all the notes of all the times you said after 21 days I could file a police report), they couldn't understand why I was surprised to actually see my stuff. They then refused to unload the truck until I Zelle paid them the rest of the money - they wouldn't even show it to me to confirm it was mine and proceeded to remind me repeatedly to tip the team. I will say that overall, the physical movers did a nice job of unloading at the apartment and helping me lay out the rug and rebuilding the furniture...the main issue here is the sales team and Jon, less the actual movers. Ironically, a few days later I received the first text back from Jon in over 7 reach outs...and it just said "I have gotten word that it should be leaving today and on it's way to your state"...after it had already been delivered! This is the longest review I have ever written, and yet I haven't even covered HALF of the issues Jon has caused with the move, not to mention the large added expense of having to book last minute hotels and flight changes as I had nothing to my name due to the twenty-three-day delay in delivery. 0/10.

Read More I hired movers for my parents move from The mountains of NC to the beach of SC. I was worried they would be taken advantage of being elderly as sometimes happens but with this company that was not the case. From my many changes to the inventory list and exchanges with Mandy on the phone to the actual man movers that packed all of my parents belongings to the delivery everything was smooth and professional and friendly and accommodating to us. I want to thank Mandy for always being nice and especially patient as I was dealing with this from the Middle East, she always answered mv texts and phone calls and never had an attitude or anything but a friendly and kind demeanor. I really appreciated that. The movers were hard workers and efficient and friendly as well. They know what they are doing. I would hire them again. Thank you for making this move so stress free!!

My family and I used them for our relocation from Long Island, NY to FL and they quoted us one price and almost doubled the rate when they loaded the truck. I had to pay an additional $2000 before they complete the loading. Not only were personal belongings missing on arrival of the moving truck 13 days later in FL, we received personal items for another family. Upon calling Top Tier to inquire about our multiple missing effects and what steps to take to return items that did not belong to us we were sent a text message with a claim via and no one to speak with trace our belongings. Multiple calls and still no answer. We had damaged and missing furniture parts. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They steal. They store your furniture and belongings and clearly ravage through your effects before delivering it to you."

The day they showed up to move us they were 2 1/2 hours late from the 2 hour window I was given. Once, most of our stuff was loaded on the truck, I was told my husband medical bed was considered a bulky item( it was on the original quote) but if I paid them $150 CASH, they wouldn't have to add it to the bill! Very sketchy company. They don't even have their own fleet of moving trucks. They used Ryder rental trucks. So I was lied to when they told me 2 of their trucks broke down. It was a nightmare for us. Excuses for not showing up at all! 4+ hours we waited for our delivery. No text, no call, NO SHOW! Spoke with Alonso, was told the driver got sick and miscommunication, there was no communication. Found out our stuff was still in NJ, so they lied about the delivery. Was told Tuesday the 10th that our stuff was being delivered. Gave me a time of 6:30 PM, waited 2 hours for them to find out they were still over 1 1/2 hours away. So we scheduled for delivery at 10 am on the day of the 11th during a hurricane. THEY showed up at 11:45 am. My furniture was then held hostage until I paid the balance in full first! That UNETHICAL!

Michael noticed this and instructed his team to re-pack those items and add an extra layer of packing paper. What's even more commendable is that he didn't request any additional charges for this service. His actions saved me from a lot of potential trouble, and I am truly grateful for it!

In all two times, they’ve safeguarded my furniture and electrical appliances as if their life depended on it! I have nothing but good things to say about them!
