Save yourself a headache - most of these reviews look fake
I was helping my dad with his move from New Jersey to Virginia, and our experience with Top Nation Relocation was extremely frustrating. Please be aware they are a brokerage - they hire people out and very obviously do not have any contact with the people they hire. We sent Top Nation pictures of everything that needed to be moved, and our quote was based on those pictures. The move ultimately cost about $1,200 more than the original quote, and we were not given a clear explanation for the additional charges. The coordination was also a major issue. We scheduled a Thursday or Friday window, but Top Nation did not tell us which day or time the movers would arrive until Wednesday night, after we called them ourselves. We were then told the movers would arrive Thursday between 9 and 11 AM. They did not. After repeatedly calling, the movers finally arrived Friday night around 8 PM. This was made more stressful due to the fact that my dad needed to be out of his apartment on Friday. Had they not come, he would have been stuck. They told him his things would be delivered the next morning, but what a joke that was. I understand some scheduling issues were the responsibility of Home Run Van Lines, the moving company. However, Top Nation coordinated the move and was the company we booked with, so we expected them to communicate with us and help resolve these issues. Our point of contact, Justin, was particularly frustrating. When we needed help, he told us he did not have a manager, did not know where our belongings were, and could not help us. That is extremely concerning when you are trusting a company with your family member's entire household and thousands of dollars. They did not deliver my dad's things until three days after they said they would. He had no bed, no furniture, NOTHING, for three days. Moving is stressful enough without having to repeatedly call just to find out where your belongings are or when the movers are coming. Based on our experience, I would not use Top Nation Relocation again. Save yourself a GIANT headache. If you look at these reviews, most are 5 stars with names that all seem easily made up. I hope someone finds this one before they use Top Nation.

Top-notch!
As we moved to another state, the moving company we used gave us a very detailed list of things that we were not able to move, especially hazardous products and perishables, which made it easier for us to avoid making expensive preparation mistakes. The whole travelling period was a communication master class. I was updated frequently on the truck's progress as it made its way to me, and the product arrived on time. Working with a team that values transparency from start to finish was really refreshing.

Super heroes of moving.
The moving process started in a great way with the initial consultation process. The representative took the time to explain how the DOT works, what he could and couldn't load on the truck, and the carrier-assignment process. We felt 100% confident signing up without putting down a deposit because the education and transparency of service were at that level.

Ridiculous Awful Experience
If I could, I would rate as negative stars. This service is absolutely terrible. DO NOT USE THEM!! Costs change without any explanation, they will not give you accurate times for when they will pick up or deliver your stuff. They broke some of our furniture. It has been seven days and I was just informed my stuff hasn't even shipped yet and they have 5-10 days after they decide it could be shipped to get your stuff to you. That time didn't even start until 4 days after pick up. I will not have my stuff for at least 2 weeks at this point. Will I even get everything back, what will be missing or broken? Ridiculous!

Faultless service!
Traveling across the country was enough of a challenge, but these guys made it easier. The driver was in touch with us throughout the journey and we had our things delivered in the time frame we'd been promised. We were hoping that everything would be in good order, and that is what happened.

We wish you all the very best!
The crew showed up just at 8:00 AM in a well-ventilated truck without a speck of dust on it. They reinforced door posts, laid floor runners and started to work immediately. The whole packing and moving process of our 2 room house was done within 5 hours. When we arrived all was set and no wall or furniture was damaged and the final cost was exactly as quoted in the binding.

Quick and Effortless!
I was a bit freaked out about moving across state lines and coordinating everything, but it all fell into place when I worked with a broker licensed to move. From the first quote request, the relocation specialist walked me through my entire home inventory and created a clear, open estimate with no hidden surprises. During the move, the company assigned to us arrived on time, wrapped every piece of furniture securely, and had no issues during the long haul. It was a great relief to know that they had taken care of everything.

They Were Mind Blowing.
I really enjoyed the inventory tracking they had. The boxes were scanned when they were loaded and again when they were unloaded. It has helped to make us feel secure while moving, and everything managed to get to our destination.

Above and Beyond .
I'm usually stressed out when I have to move, but the people on this team helped me handle the stress easily. They stored clothes in wardrobe boxes and added additional blankets and shrink wrap around our dining table with glass top. The lead mover also took us around the house prior to them taking on the fragile items. As a whole, they were neat and orderly.

Horrible experience
I was moving about 400 miles with less than 450 sq ft of inventory. When I was first sold by the sales agent (his name was Santi) he told me I would not have to pay over a dime more than our agreed upon Bill of Lading and to call him if I was ever quoted more. (hint: I paid more). I received one call to confirm my inventory list a few days in advance, which was only a few more items than my original quote, and then after moving the pickup date, they never got another inventory. Additionally, when I called about the COI (certificate of insurance) I was told that "I was supposed to tell them I needed it and it was too late otherwise" when I had told Santi when I booked the company three weeks prior. Then, on pick up day, I was told my pickup window was 10am-2pm and I called multiple times in that timeframe asking for an update and kept getting "the driver will call you". I never got a phone call from this team. I finally got a phone call at 3:15pm!! It was a new crew because the one assigned was held up at a different job and no one called to tell me. I was supposed to get a 1-2 hours heads up but this guy called me 20 minutes out. When he got there, he told me it was more than what my original bill of lading, and I tried calling Santi to resolve this and of course, he never answered and never returned my voicemails. I ended up paying $700 more because I couldn't find the rest in my already filled car. They didn't finish packing everything up until 5:30pm. Then, no one in this whole process told me that the payments were to be in postal money order or cash, which I obviously didn't have. I had to drive states away after this and had told them the day before 2pm was my cutoff time, but this was the only day I could move. So we missed my buildings delivery window and had to push it to the next day. Then, the next day comes around and I am supposed to receive a heads up call for drop-off and of course, I didn't. I was told it would be about 3/4pm but I called at 1pm to check in and they said, again, 20 minutes out. When they got there, they carelessly dropped my dresser on the ground and split some of the wood. And, one of the only boxes that had "FRAGILE" all over it was absolutely destroyed, and you guessed it, half the items were broken.
