I was IMPRESSED by their care for sentimental objects, such as framed family photos and collectables. The shipment was on time, and each box was delivered to the proper location. They seemed to care about all our property. RECOMMENDED!
Picking a moving company is stressful, but this one blew us away. They were polite, diligent, and took care of our belongings. Everything arrived safely, whether furniture, electronics or fragile. Well done, guys!
Very, very rude and unprofessional movers showed up to pack my things. They demanded extra payment in cash on top of the fees we had already paid and could not articulate why they needed the additional money. They tried to convince me many times to throw out multiple pieces of furniture because they didn’t want to load them onto the truck. My stuff is now missing, Top Nation can’t tell me where it is or how to contact the actual moving company, and I’m pretty sure I will never receive my things. All of my furniture, clothing, electronics, instruments, and keepsakes are gone, probably permanently. I have called Top Nation and a very rude representative named Justin has belittled and hung up on me and my mother when we asked for information about the location and expected delivery of my things. Save yourself the heartache. Do not use Top Nation.
I was careful this time around, after having bad luck with another moving company. The broker did a fantastic job of introducing us to a great carrier that was fully screened and rated to our expectations. The pricing was clear, the communication was non-stop, and the move was flawless!
This is not a moving company but a broker. They make promises on the phone, but when your items get picked up, they do not get sent. Our stuff which we were told would take approximately 7-10 days to arrive, is still sitting at a warehouse, three weeks later. I called and was told to take it up with the carrier. Your phone rep is the one who told me what would happen, so this is a carrier you use chose not me. If they are not going to follow through on the promises you make, then maybe you shouldn't use them, because they will cost you. I will never use you again.
If I could, I would rate as negative stars. This service is absolutely terrible. DO NOT USE THEM!! Costs change without any explanation, they will not give you accurate times for when they will pick up or deliver your stuff. They broke some of our furniture. It has been seven days and I was just informed my stuff hasn't even shipped yet and they have 5-10 days after they decide it could be shipped to get your stuff to you. That time didn't even start until 4 days after pick up. I will not have my stuff for at least 2 weeks at this point. Will I even get everything back, what will be missing or broken? Ridiculous!
We were transferring into a high-rise building that had very specific requirements and our HOA asked for a Certificate of Insurance. The company sent the COI to them within about 20 minutes of my request. The crew was able to move the freight elevator efficiently and ended up moving freight about 45 minutes before the move was scheduled to be completed.
I'm usually stressed out when I have to move, but the people on this team helped me handle the stress easily. They stored clothes in wardrobe boxes and added additional blankets and shrink wrap around our dining table with glass top. The lead mover also took us around the house prior to them taking on the fragile items. As a whole, they were neat and orderly.
Crew was very polite and professional, and handled all our items with care. They were very efficient and everything came in good order. 5-star experience!
I was more worried about my houseplants than my furniture, and they sensed that right away. They reminded me which boxes needed sunlight first! The whole move was so much easier, and I paid attention much of the time.
