The movers were very nice but not chatty half the day. When we needed something they kept their focus and were pleasant.
DO NOT USE THEM! To use a different firm that respected your possessions, I would have paid an additional $1,000. Both the house we moved from and the house we moved into were destroyed by these individuals. Doors were scrapped, walls were dented, and our furniture was severely damaged. They paid us $54 after putting us through a lengthy process in the hopes that we would leave. We had to mail in physical pictures. The damage exceeds $2,000 by a large margin. Take your business somewhere else.
The move completed by this company was a success because the guys knew how to handle my heavy drum kits and speakers. I had a lot of road cases that needed to go to my new practice space across the county. They used a ramp to get the heavy bass bins into the van and made sure nothing was sliding around. I saw them use thick moving blankets to cover the wood and finish on the drums. It was a good experience.
Here is something that does not happen every day. I accidentally left my wallet inside one of the boxes and did not realize it until after the truck had already left my old apartment. I called Tip Top Moving in a panic, and the person who answered put me on hold for a minute while she radioed the driver. John called me back within five minutes and said he found the wallet and he would leave it under my doormat at the new place. When I got home that evening, the wallet was right where he said it would be, and every single card and dollar was still inside it. I am really grateful to them.
These pro movers helped us to move our furniture and appliances, and they have done a fantastic job! They have been an expert help in covering my shift.
This was not the stress-free moving experience I had hoped for. I found the communication less helpful than expected. Better organization could have prevented some of the frustration. Overall, the service needs improvement.
I moved everything from my one bedroom apartment to a house share. I had a lot of heavy boxes of clothes, plus my desk and a microwave. I was mostly worried about my guitar getting bumped around in the back of the truck. Tip Top Moving sent a crew that used shoulder straps to carry the desk down the stairs safely. They even put extra tape on my guitar case and made sure the microwave was boxed up tight.
It was hard to move from a house to an home due to the stairs and limited room. They received help from their movers who were ready to help with their dollies and straps. They were friendly, professional and in such cramped conditions they managed to move all the items without any hassle.
The supervisor of this moving company coordinated our entire moving day. He explained the process when the team arrived. Each mover had a specific role during packing. They used moving straps for the heavier items. Items were placed in the correct rooms without confusion, and the move was finished ahead of schedule.

The person I spoke with on the phone was polite and clear about the details. The movers handled the packing and loading with care and kept the process moving at a good pace. They were respectful and easy to work with. The service felt fair for what was provided, and I would call James and the team again.
