Moving company in Chicago, IL
Edward went above and beyond. One of my boxes broke, and he taped it right up without me even asking. Super friendly and didn't rush me at all.
We had to move to our next location and this moving company was fantastic. 3 crew members came at the appointed time, loaded all of our large furniture with heavy duty blankets and treated our antiques with the utmost care. They went up a flight of stairs with neither a whimper nor a grumble. Worth every penny.
The movers were very nice but not chatty half the day. When we needed something they kept their focus and were pleasant.
Our retail shop moved to the new mall location last night. The guys arrived at the scheduled time to haul the clothing racks and the boxes of inventory. Each item reached the storefront safely.
We had a last-minute move from downtown to the suburbs. The team called thirty minutes before arrival. They brought all their own supplies, like wraps and dollies. Each item of ours was listed on the sheet so they won’t forget or miss anything. The truck was packed in an organized way. They placed protective mats on the floors and stairways. At the new home, all things were unloaded by room. They checked in with us about furniture placement. The entire move took less time than estimated with no issues or surprises at all.
I appreciated the fact that the movers would check the truck before they left to ensure that they hadn't missed anything. That little bit of reassurance helped us a little.
I can say this company was very helpful when I was helping my parents with their downsizing. The movers were extremely patient and respectful, packing years' worth of items and setting them up flawlessly in their new home. My parents settled in easily thanks to them!
I made arrangements for my sister's relocation, but I wasn't there in person at either site. Nevertheless, everything was managed correctly, and I was informed at every stage. I found the procedure to be lot simpler with that degree of collaboration.
You can go ahead with them if you want a straightforward moving experience. I had around 18 medium boxes and 6 larger pieces, and all of it was transported without any issues. Tip Top Moving handled everything so smoothly.
I had them do a local move and I was pleased with the way things were organized. The crew arrived on time, they quickly determined what had to be moved, and started working. In particular, they took extra care with my sofa and bedroom furniture, due to the narrow staircase. All items were delivered in good condition to the new home.
