Couldnt be worse

I was lied to from the beginning by Nicole Jones. I specifically asked if they were brokers, I was assured they have their own movers and trucks. MAP movers showed up. Neither moving men spoke English, one could barely see so I had to fill out my own billing paperwork having no idea what I was doing. They arrived at 530 pm and didn't finish until after midnight. All kinds of extra charges amounting to several thousand dollars over my initial bill. Jordan at swift shift was dismissive of me during a call to update my items to be moved. He never officially updated my list so the movers charged me extra for everything Jordan failed to add to my list. I can not get a delivery date from anyone. So I have no idea when my things will be arriving. I have emailed repeatedly with no response. Just a mess. Moving cross country is already stressful, but I couldn't have chosen a worse moving company to deal with.

Swift Shift Van Lines did an amazing job with my move from an apartment to a townhouse. They gave me a clear quote upfront and stuck to it. There were no hidden fees, and they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services. They were efficient, respectful, and made sure my belongings were handled with care. I had some heavy furniture, but they used the right equipment, like moving dollies and straps, to make sure everything was safely loaded into the truck. The move took less time than expected, and I was so impressed by their professionalism.

10 out of 10 for how the move turned out. I was helping set up for a small family event and needed help moving supplies to the venue. Truck #T-610 was loaded with order #IN-11934 in an efficient manner. All wooden tables were covered with corner protectors and heavy duty stretch film was used around large wooden sectional items to stop dirt and moisture from accumulating.
