We had rain on moving day. The movers covered my sofa and chairs in plastic, so nothing got wet. Everything stayed dry. I really appreciated their preparation and care. I’d recommend them.
John and his crew from Swift Shift Van Lines were outstanding, and they exceeded all my expectations. They were the most efficient and effective movers I’ve ever seen, and they packed up my entire apartment in just a few hours. They used all kinds of packing supplies, from foam peanuts to packing tape, and they even gave me some extra boxes for free. They organized everything neatly and logically, and they labeled everything clearly and accurately. They were the best in the business!
Swift Shift Van Lines was amazing! I was moving from downtown to uptown in TX and was stressed about doing it alone. Fortunately, the movers packed my entire two-bedroom apartment in four hours. I didn’t have to prepare anything.
Solid 5 stars from my side because we moved a 3 bedroom house and the entire job was done in under 5 hours and everything was accounted for at the end.
The entire process, beginning with my first phone contact to John , was smooth sailing because to their explanations, inquiries, and assistance.
I had to get in here in no time and it was supposed to be a lot of chaos. I had just packed and I was about to be out of my lease in 48 hours, but these guys packed my whole home in less than a day. This was also delivered the following day. I couldn't be more thankful to them!
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
The movers from Swift Shift Van Lines were seriously awesome; they treated my stuff with utmost caution and made the whole thing look like a cakewalk. Bravo!
The movers were fantastic from the start to the finish; they were kind and efficient, and the quote they provided me matched the actual cost.
I used them for the move of my parents, and they were very respectful. They seemed to take their time with the heavier items and listened when my parents asked where we should put furniture. The movers' hard work and patience were really appreciated.
