We moved early in the morning to avoid traffic. The crew arrived before sunrise and started loading quietly. They used the time well, and by noon, everything was inside the new house.
Swift Shift Van Lines stepped in for a cross-country move when another provider dropped out last minute. What could’ve been a logistical nightmare turned into a smooth process. Every step, from packing to the final delivery, was handled with clockwork precision and a calming presence. Their movers did an amazing job!
I got in touch with Jack and his company about two weeks ahead of time for a neighborhood move. He sent out great workers who showed up on time and got to work packing. Even though there were a lot of stacked boxes and big parts, they moved all easily.
Thanks to the movers, relocating from TX to NY was easy. John and Michael packed the truck snugly so that nothing would move throughout the long trip. No damage occurred during move.
This company is not to be trusted. They give you specific pricing and I was also given 7-10 day window for arrival of my goods. All a lie. They broker out their business and don’t mention that. The price went up by 1500, although I did a quality assurance call and updated my items to be moved which they did not update and give to the movers they contract with. SO when the movers showed up they wanted 1500 more and told me 30 days for arrival. I had a find a new company entirely and swift shift cancelled me and kept my 1096.00 deposit. They are all crooks. Ted, who took my original order, is deceptive as best. Jonathon Ortiz ,Lily DeSilva and Jordan, the quality assurance guy, are all very rude, and unethical. Don’t know how they sleep at night. They should provide at least a partial refund just to restore faith
The movers worked together well and kept the process moving at a steady pace. They protected the furniture before loading and handled the boxes responsibly. Once at the destination, the crew unloaded everything in an organized manner.
I used them for the move of my parents, and they were very respectful. They seemed to take their time with the heavier items and listened when my parents asked where we should put furniture. The movers' hard work and patience were really appreciated.
It was very easy to move across the country because of Swift Shift Van Lines! From the first meeting, when they planned our transfer, to the arrival of our belongings. The team was considerate, on time, and cautious with our furnishings. No object broke because of their extreme caution, and they advised me on furnishing our new home!
Swift Shift Van Lines has the best customer service of any moving company. In the past, they've helped me a lot. I have a lot of respect for them. Not only did they not overcharge me, but they also did not break or lose any of my things during the move.
My upright freezer was the hardest part of my state-to-suburbs move. The movers wrapped it in plastic to keep fingerprints off the surface and strapped it tightly in the truck. After setting it up in the utility room, I plugged it in, and it hummed like normal. It looked the same as before the move, spotless.
