It's been a week since our move, and we can't stop raving about the exceptional crew that handled it. Their attentiveness and composure throughout the extensive process were truly impressive. We're grateful for their splendid work.
While taking my dresser down the stairs, he dropped it, chipping the corner and causing extensive damage. “It happens sometimes,” he shrugged, without acknowledging the damage or offering to repair it. The move was difficult because it was obvios that they lacked the necessary training and expertise. I would never again use such inexperienced movers.
Don’t be fooled by this company. They are not a true moving company. They outsource all of their movers. They sweet talked me, made everything sound great, claimed I was getting a bunch of discounts, but then they ended up charging me more than quoted. They sent three guys from a local moving company called Jackson Movers. They were awful. Two of the guys didn’t speak English and the foreman, who did speak English, disappeared for most of the packing, so I couldn’t even communicate with the guys packing my stuff. The first thing they did was drop one of my expensive crystals and then claimed that is was already broken. I ended up having to pack the crystals myself because they were doing such a piss poor job. They dumped most of my things into boxes, they didn’t label any of the boxes, and they didn’t end up taking half of my stuff. I had to rent a U-Haul and tow dolly for my car and pack and load the rest of my things, which cost me an extra $1,600. Then, they didn’t show up at my house where I moved to for a week. The moving company had changed once again, and this time the movers were Champion Movers. The foreman was a lazy fat cow who only brought in a few things and then sat in his truck for the rest of the time and let two other guys unload everything. The only good thing about the unloading was a local guy they hired named Joe. He was awesome. The foreman refused to take apart my desk and move it into my office so Joe stayed behind and dismantled my desk and moved it to my office and put it back together. He then also helped me move over a dozen plastic totes to my storage shed in my backyard. The foreman refused to unload them there because he said it was more than 75 ft and would be an extra charge. I had labeled all of my crystal boxes with fragile labels, which were completely ignored, many of the boxes were upside down, crushed, or smashed. Once I started unpacking things I found a lot of broken items. This moving experience was the worst I’ve ever had. DO NOT HIRE SWIFT SHIFT MOVERS.
I used Swift Shift Van Lines for my apartment move. The crew came prepared with dollies and wraps. They worked quickly but carefully. My fragile mirror made it safe, which honestly surprised me
The movers from this company did a fantastic job. Jack sent 3 movers on the same day I booked my appointment. They worked hard to pack and transport everything on time, even though the booking was last minute. The move went smoothly, and I had no issues adjusting, so their hard work was worthwhile.
What I remember most is how calm everything felt during the move. There was no rushing or confusion, and that made a big difference for me. I would absolutely use them again!
I had to move into a third-floor walk-up with no elevator. I apologized a few times, but the crew just laughed and said it was fine. They kept working without complaining once. they handled everything very well.
We moved a couple blocks away from our current place, and this company’s movers were fantastic from start to finish. They were friendly, careful, and quick! We had a few fragile items, and were concerned they might get damaged, but everything was handled carefully and arrived in perfect condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience!
Alex and his team have my highest praise. Absolutely everyone I encountered was pleasant and helpful. They were all really nice and courteous. I had no doubt that my stuff would be secure.
What helped most was how they handled the equipment. No delays, no excuses, just got it done the way I asked. Our stuff was out and loaded before lunch, and that saved everyone a long day.
