For my move out of state, these guys were a huge help. I had a bit of a mess with my building's freight elevator being out of service, but they just rolled with it and got everything up the stairs without any complaints.
What made this move easier was how well the movers worked together. They handled my family’s belongings from start to end with complete attention. They checked a few details with me before loading and managed the entire trip smoothly. The unloading at the new home went just as well.
This company is not to be trusted. They give you specific pricing and I was also given 7-10 day window for arrival of my goods. All a lie. They broker out their business and don’t mention that. The price went up by 1500, although I did a quality assurance call and updated my items to be moved which they did not update and give to the movers they contract with. SO when the movers showed up they wanted 1500 more and told me 30 days for arrival. I had a find a new company entirely and swift shift cancelled me and kept my 1096.00 deposit. They are all crooks. Ted, who took my original order, is deceptive as best. Jonathon Ortiz ,Lily DeSilva and Jordan, the quality assurance guy, are all very rude, and unethical. Don’t know how they sleep at night. They should provide at least a partial refund just to restore faith
Really pleased with how things went with the team from Swift Shift Van Lines. The movers arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly and careful with my things. I appreciated how they didn’t rush, especially with fragile items. The whole move was done in a few hours, and all items arrived without any issues. It was a much easier experience than I expected. Happy to have chosen them!
I was amazed by how well the team was able to solve problems. My friends managed to find solutions to some difficult setup challenges so everything would fit just right. They took the same care with every object, large or small.
Their movers were the pros of the pros! On moving day, it rained heavily, and I was sure that my furniture would be lost. However, to my relief, the team brought plastic wrap, waterproof tarps and even gloves to keep my belongings clean. I was wet by the end of the move; my belongings were not. Bravo to them!
I would use Swift Shift Van Lines again. James moved my fridge without unplugging it first, which I thought was strange, but he explained that waiting for the coils to settle would take too long.
I was thoroughly impressed at how efficiently the moving crew tackled the challenge of transporting things to a high-rise apartment (on the 5th floor). Since the elevator was out due to power outage, I was a bit concerned that they would put things off, but they took the task head-on and safely carried everything up into my apartment through the stairs. Not a single piece was scratched or harmed in any way. I am grateful beyond measure!
When I changed my workstation, I needed someone to move desks, chairs, and documents. The crew from this company did the job properly. They arranged all items in sequence, making it easy to set up again.
I am truly grateful to the movers for their assistance! We needed help dismantling and reassembling our dining table and large bed frame. The movers had the right equipment and were experienced in reassembling everything smoothly.
