The team assisted me with the move from a 1-bedroom apartment, making the day much easier. They had other boxes to store my belongings in that were needed. They've also been moving blankets around my dresser, TV stand and dining chairs.
Our cross-town move turned out to be much more involved than we expected, but Swift Shift Van Lines experts handled every aspect with impressive skill. The movers arrived with all the necessary materials – boxes, blankets, straps – and packed our entire 3-bedroom home in few hours. When we got to the new house, they carefully unloaded each box into the corresponding room, and set up our furniture just as we requested. They deserve nothing but praise!
My delicate Victorian chairs as well as my large sectional were all handled and transported very well. They were all very pleasant, so they became more than helpful—they were also enjoyable at the same time.

We were in the process of moving into our house, which had just been renovated, so I was extremely worried about the walls and floors. The movers took great care in moving all the things in. They spared no time with the larger pieces of furniture and did not cause any damage.
All the crates arrived exactly how they were packed. Fragile art pieces from different pickup points made it to the gallery without any signs of handling stress. What could have been a stressful move ended up feeling straightforward. The movers weren’t asking for constant guidance and knew how to do their things.

Moving my studio was easy with their help. The team used boxes for my fragile items like ceramics and glass vases. They labeled every box clearly and packed them in an organized manner. They handled my large painting with care, using a protective cover. The movers were efficient and made sure to place each item exactly where I wanted it in the new studio.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
DO NOT USE THEM!! they do not tell you the small details that one needs to know, e.g. you cannot update your invoice list once you give it to them, then when the movers show up, they want to charge you more for anything that's not on the list. i refused service because they wanted to charge me DOUBLE the price agreed. they also do not communicate box standards, and want to charge you more for anything that doesn't fit said standard. horrible communication and they will rip you off!!
