I was worried about a glass bookshelf and expensive mirrors. The corners were protected and well-padded. Packing my dishwasher, blender, and slow cooker together with labels made unpacking easier. There was no need to do anything.
I was very amazed with Swift Shift Van Lines from start to finish. From my initial inquiry with the company to the final delivery of my belongings, everything was handled carefully. They responded to my questions and requests promptly and professionally, and provided me with a clear and comprehensive quote that explained the scope and cost of the service. They also kept me updated throughout the process, and notified me of any changes or delays. They delivered on their promises.
Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
I moved from a second-floor duplex into a newly built apartment complex, and my main concern was my oversized sectional sofa and tall standing desk. Both were a tight fit through the hallway. The movers stayed patient and worked through every angle until they got them out safely. Everything was wrapped neatly, and nothing was damaged in the process. It was handled really well.
Really pleased with how things went with the team from Swift Shift Van Lines. The movers arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly and careful with my things. I appreciated how they didn’t rush, especially with fragile items. The whole move was done in a few hours, and all items arrived without any issues. It was a much easier experience than I expected. They are a very professional company to do the move with as my high-rise move had a lot of problems to deal with but Swift Shift Van Lines solved them all. They organized the use of the elevator, they packed up the truck in an efficient manner and they got all of it done in record time. Absolutely fantastic!
I had no major problems with the move into my new home whatsoever, even though there were parking issues and delays caused by weather.
Really happy with how this move turned out. A sewing studio with several older industrial machines needed to be relocated. The machines had small parts that could shift easily, so the movers wrapped the metal heads in thick plastic before moving them. Heavy tables were carried up the driveway and brought in through the side door without being dragged. After everything was set down, the needles and parts were still in place.
To make sure everything was well after the transfer, Richard called a few days later to check-in. When it comes to companies that genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction, Swift Shift Van Lines stands out. A resounding yes!
