Swift Shift Van Lines sent a team of four guys who showed up right on schedule. They took the bunk beds apart in just a few minutes and kept all the screws together. I liked how they put the toys in clear bags so we could find them easily later. They even hooked the washer back up at the new house and cleaned out the dryer vent for us. The kids were able to play while the movers worked around them. It was a very smooth day
Swift Shift Van Lines made the whole thing way less stressful. They brought their supplies and didn’t mind that things weren’t packed perfectly. They even helped me sort out what could go in storage. I honestly don’t think I could’ve pulled it off without their help.
Mixed feelings. The SSV are brokers. We were quoted a price. the moving company they hired were rated 1 star and demanded more money than quoted and refused to deliver some pieces of furniture. The delivery dates quoted by SSV were 5-10 days. The movers they hired stated 7-10 business days the actually delivery time was 16 business days. The boxes were not securely stored as when they were delivered some boxes were torn, massive holes where items were spilling out, a gross liquid spilled over 5. The men packing up and delivering were different. The delivery people were nice, quick and didn't try to scam more money out of us like the pick up crew did. I feel betrayed about all moving companies from this experience. Good luck to everyone who uses this company and I suggest finding out who they hire as movers before signing so you do not get a low rate mover through this broker.
