The team was very focused on getting the truck loaded up. I was worried about things getting bumped around during the drive, but James and the team made sure the cargo was secure. They stayed on task and didn't take a lot of breaks while they were at my place. It was a relief to see how they handled the transition to the new house.
A really positive encounter with the movers. I employed them for a full moving service because I was relocating alone. Since they effortlessly disassembled my bulky furniture, uninstalled my home theatre system and TVs, packed everything carefully, and handled all the hard lifting, it was actually a relief. After successfully transporting everything, they stayed behind to assemble and install my belongings.
I recommend this company to anyone in need of secure relocation assistance. The staff helped me take my belongings downstairs and took good care of my TV and furnishings (unlike other firms who chuck stuff in the vehicle). They arrived 10 minutes early. He assisted me in moving all of the furniture into the rooms of the new home when we moved into our new house, and he removed his shoes upstairs to protect my newly installed carpeting.
I liked how the crew prepared everything before transportation. Furniture was secured well, and fragile household items received extra attention. The unloading process was also neat and straightforward.
I was amazed by how well the team was able to solve problems. My friends managed to find solutions to some difficult setup challenges so everything would fit just right. They took the same care with every object, large or small.
I was most worried about my glass coffee table. The movers covered it with thick padding, carried it together, and placed it gently in the truck. It arrived in perfect shape, no chips at all.
Solid 5 stars from my side because we moved a 3 bedroom house and the entire job was done in under 5 hours and everything was accounted for at the end.
I paid for $4000 for 800 cubic square feet and they only allowed me 640 when their subcontracted moving company arrived. We measured ourselves and they told us to contact Swift which claims no responsibility once your items are turned over to the moving company that they contract out to. This is the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with, they also did damage to our flooring and are completely unprofessional. Don't let the good reviews fool you, you will pay double. Rent a U-Haul and save thousands and save yourself the entire headache of dealing with such an unprofessional company.
