I was expecting some hidden fee or something, but nope. Swift Shift Van Lines was straight up from the start. The movers were actually friendly too, which was weird because most movers look miserable. Would hire them again.
Our movers called off work on the day of the move. Swift Shift Van Lines had a packing crew of three out to our house in less than 45 minutes. Expert, prompt, kind, and efficient. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.
The customer service was good. I had a lot of questions because I had never hired movers before, and the person on the phone was patient with me. On moving day the crew showed up and handled my one bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. When they left, I sat on my floor surrounded by boxes, and I felt like I had made a smart decision for myself.
My upright freezer was the hardest part of my state-to-suburbs move. The movers wrapped it in plastic to keep fingerprints off the surface and strapped it tightly in the truck. After setting it up in the utility room, I plugged it in, and it hummed like normal. It looked the same as before the move, spotless.
The entire process, beginning with my first phone contact to John , was smooth sailing because to their explanations, inquiries, and assistance.

A 10/10 experience! I have a number of expensive furniture and I was afraid of getting damaged in the midst of my recent move. But, these movers did all things carefully and used custom padding. My furniture has reached me in perfect shape!
We needed several large rugs and a loom. The team rolled and secured properly to avoid creases. The loom was reassembled and ready to use.
The movers left packing materials, tape, and plastic wraps scattered all over my home. They didn’t bother cleaning up after themselves. I had to spend hours cleaning up the mess they left behind. For the price I paid, I expected them to at least leave my place in decent condition.
I had a terrific experience from the very first interaction. Throughout the entire procedure, the personnel was kind, patient, and kept me updated. Without any unforeseen problems, everything was finished on time. Their meticulousness was just remarkable. I would absolutely utilize their service again.
