My delicate Victorian chairs as well as my large sectional were all handled and transported very well. They were all very pleasant, so they became more than helpful—they were also enjoyable at the same time.
Everything was done in about 4 hours, which matched what they told me earlier. That made it easier for me to plan the rest of my day.
Solid 5 stars from my side because we moved a 3 bedroom house and the entire job was done in under 5 hours and everything was accounted for at the end.
Their cutting-edge document storage made the relocation of my most important papers easy and risk-free, and I give them a perfect score.
We moved at a faster pace than anticipated and made no compromises on quality. With all the boxes, the team was careful, and with the larger pieces of furniture, they used professional moving equipment. Communication was very good throughout. Great overall experience.
Henry and his colleague produced fantastic job. They were quite professional in how they handled both us and our possessions. They did an excellent job; thus I have no problem promoting them and their business.
We did have a sectional that was able to be divided into several sections but it was difficult to get through the door. The movers were very careful to disassemble and reassemble it at the new location. All cushions and pieces were kept together.
Late evening timing was the only option for my schedule. The team arrived as discussed and stayed focused on the job. They handled my personal items and household goods with care. Every request I made was followed without issue. I appreciated how they listened and adjusted when I asked for small changes.
At the last minute, I didn't have enough boxes to hold all my trinkets. Fortunately, the group had a supply of extra packing materials and cartons. They immediately jumped in to help me pack those odds and ends. I stayed within my budget, and the relocation was completed on schedule.
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
