Joseph replied immediately, even though we were behind schedule with our request. They were prompt with delivery and set things up for us. The safe and prompt delivery of our beautiful marble tulip table and chairs from NJ to AZ has satisfied us. We would definitely use them again because of the great service and staff.
For my move out of state, these guys were a huge help. I had a bit of a mess with my building's freight elevator being out of service, but they just rolled with it and got everything up the stairs without any complaints.
Mixed feelings. The SSV are brokers. We were quoted a price. the moving company they hired were rated 1 star and demanded more money than quoted and refused to deliver some pieces of furniture. The delivery dates quoted by SSV were 5-10 days. The movers they hired stated 7-10 business days the actually delivery time was 16 business days. The boxes were not securely stored as when they were delivered some boxes were torn, massive holes where items were spilling out, a gross liquid spilled over 5. The men packing up and delivering were different. The delivery people were nice, quick and didn't try to scam more money out of us like the pick up crew did. I feel betrayed about all moving companies from this experience. Good luck to everyone who uses this company and I suggest finding out who they hire as movers before signing so you do not get a low rate mover through this broker.
Living in a busy downtown area makes parking a huge truck almost impossible. Somehow, the driver found a spot and worked quickly to avoid blocking the bus lane. My heavy mahogany wardrobe made it inside without touching a single doorframe. The guys were incredibly helpful and handled the stuff with care. I felt lucky to have such an experienced team helping me out on a hectic Saturday morning. They were able to transfer the things on the same afternoon safely.

My wife and I had a comfortable relocation experience. Alan and his team of 3 were efficient workers and handled everything from packing to delivery exceptionally well. They even reassembled our furniture and reinstalled our TV and fridge for us after delivery – and that too without extra charges. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!
Michael and his team were the most movers! I needed to make a last-minute change to my plans, and they came through for me, no problem. Their arrangements and care in packing were very careful and orderly, and I felt confident that my things were safe in their hands, arriving on time and undamaged.
This move was for a home library. Floor-to-ceiling bookcases and hundreds of books. The movers removed shelves and stacked books flat. They grouped the series together without me asking. Shelves were wrapped and labeled. At delivery, everything went back up in the same order. I did not have to sort titles again. That saved me days of work.
How professional and knowledgeable the relocation company was stunned me. They pretended to be ready for anything and put up a show.
Swift Shift Van Lines Movers has the best movers crew for the service; they have all been awesome when I hired them. Their staff was punctual, skilled and dedicated to the work. I have nothing to complain about from the service. But there's always room for improvement, so I'd only tell them to keep up the good work.
