All staff was humble and expert. Nothing was damaged, and everything passed through. As they packed everything, they took great care to protect the woodwork. Our team leader, Joseph, took the time to find out where we liked the things packed and where everything was going in the new house. When we made reservations, they were accommodating and patient.
The crew was excellent during our apartment renovation. We appreciated our moving coordinator, Michael, for taking the initiative and managing the transfer. He kept us informed and ensured effective delivery and packaging. After packing, they stored our belongings in the company's facility until repairs were complete. We also appreciate his hassle-free service!
I was thoroughly impressed at how efficiently the moving crew tackled the challenge of transporting things to a high-rise apartment (on the 5th floor). Since the elevator was out due to power outage, I was a bit concerned that they would put things off, but they took the task head-on and safely carried everything up into my apartment through the stairs. Not a single piece was scratched or harmed in any way. I am grateful beyond measure!
Henry and his colleague produced fantastic job. They were quite professional in how they handled both us and our possessions. They did an excellent job; thus I have no problem promoting them and their business.
We used Swift Shift Van Lines to prepare our household items for overseas container moving. They professionally wrapped and inventoried every piece, meeting all international standards. The entire process felt very secure and detailed. Person name answered all my difficult customs questions beforehand.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
My art studio had to be packed up and relocated across town. Between canvases, supplies, and delicate storage drawers, I was nervous about the move. Swift Shift Van Lines was careful with every piece and didn't rush me when I wanted to wrap a few things myself. They even helped reassemble some of the storage units at the new space. Everything arrived intact, and I was relieved.
Our moving experience with them was excellent. Without question, they are the city's top movers. The procedure was enjoyable because of the team's dedication and careful handling of our stuff.
They saved my move after the first company no showed. I waited for three hours in my empty apartment, calling everyone I knew. James answered my call at 11 AM and said we can be there by 1 PM. They showed up at 12:50 and worked until 7 PM to get everything done. I am really grateful. Great service!
